Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for the emulation of cloud computing service regions. An emulation system receives an API request including an indication of an endpoint associated with a target region of a cloud computing service from a system in a virtual private cloud. Attributes are extracted from the API request. A manipulated API request is generated from the extracted attributes of the API request. The manipulated API request includes an indication of an endpoint located in a standard region of the cloud computing service. The manipulated API request is transmitted to the endpoint located in the standard region of the cloud computing service.

Abstract: The present invention relates to methods and pharmaceutical compositions for treatment of all symptoms of gastroparesis in a human patient, the method comprising administering to the human patient between about 0.5 mg/day to about 30 mg/day, about 0.5 mg/day to about 15 mg/day, about 0.5 mg/day to about 5 mg/day, or about 5 mg/day, of velusetrag or a pharmaceutically-acceptable salt thereof.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods for evaluating tissue damage and the use of spatial variation in Sub-Epidermal Moisture (SEM) values to determine damaged tissue for clinical intervention. The present disclosure provides methods of identifying deep and early-stage pressure-induced injuries or ulcers (PI/PU). The present disclosure provides algorithm for computing SEM delta values which inform clinical decision-making for developing intact skin PI/PUs including suspected deep tissue injury (sDTI) and Stage I PI/PUs.

Abstract: An autonomous vehicle is described, wherein the autonomous vehicle is configured to estimate a change in direction of a vehicle that is on a roadway and is proximate to the autonomous vehicle. The autonomous vehicle has a mechanical system, one or more sensors that generate one or more sensor signals, and a computing system in communication with the mechanical system and the one or more sensors. The autonomous vehicle is configured to detect an imminent lane change by another vehicle based on at least one of a computed angle between a wheel of the other vehicle and a longitudinal direction of travel of the other vehicle, a degree of misalignment between the wheel of the other vehicle and a body of the other vehicle, and/or an eccentricity of the wheel of the other vehicle. The mechanical system of the autonomous vehicle is controlled by the computing system based upon the detected imminent lane change.

Abstract: A bottom-fill hydration bottle includes a main body having a valve assembly positioned along the bottom end. The valve assembly including an inlet opening, a valve, an outlet opening and a deflector. The deflector includes an input opening and at least one aperture that functions to discharge the received fluid in a direction that is different than the outlet opening of the valve. The hydration bottle includes a cap that is selectively coupled to the top of the main body. The cap includes a central spout having a bottom opening and an upper opening. A diffuser is positioned along the bottom opening of the spout. The diffuser including an output opening and at least one aperture that functions to receive fluid from the main body at an angle that is different from the bottom end of the spout.

Abstract: According to examples, a phase plate may include a transparent substrate and a photopolymer layer attached to the transparent substrate. The photopolymer layer may adjust a backlight via a phase adjustment and focusing. The phase plate may focus a plurality of red, green, and blue components of the backlight onto respective red, green, and blue subpixels of a thin-film-transistor (TFT) layer deposited thereon. A distance between the photopolymer layer of the phase plate and the plurality of red, green, and blue subpixels of the thin-film-transistor (TFT) layer may be in a range from about 200 ?m to about 500 ?m. In some examples, the phase plate may be part of a liquid crystal display (LCD) apparatus along with a red, green, blue (RGB) laser to provide backlight; a grating light guide to transmit the backlight; and a liquid crystal display (LCD) layer on the thin-film-transistor (TFT) layer.

An attribution model is generated that includes a coordinate structure that corresponds to at least a portion of the coordinate structure of the collaborative electronic document and includes a third coordinate location that corresponds to the first coordinate location and the second coordinate location. The third coordinate location of the attribution model is updated with the first revision identifier. The attribution information for the first change is stored in association with the first revision identifier.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described herein for the direct sharing and use of transaction data separately from transaction authorization processes. Transaction metadata associated with a transaction may be received and validated. Authorization information corresponding to the transaction may be received. The degree to which the transaction metadata is tested may be based on a predicted time of receipt of the authorization information. The transaction metadata and authorization information may be correlated. A computing device may determine whether to authorize the financial transaction based on the authorization information and the correlated transaction metadata. All or portions of the transaction metadata may be provided to one or more users after the transaction has been authorized or denied.

A coverage system selects lanes from the map database along which AVs can stop, such as parking lanes. The coverage system generates buffer regions for each of the stopping lanes, where each buffer region includes an area within a given distance of the respective lane. The coverage system combines the buffer regions to generate a coverage area, and provides a display of the coverage area overlayed over a map of roads corresponding to the coverage area.

Abstract: A system for disinfecting an enclosed area may include a humidity sensor, and a fogging device including a portable housing, an atomizing disinfectant generator carried by the portable housing, at least one output circuit carried by the portable housing, and a processor carried by the portable housing. The processor may be configured to determine a humidity level within the enclosed area based upon the humidity sensor, operate a humidity control device via the at least one output circuit responsive to the determined humidity control level being outside of a starting humidity range, cease operating the humidity control device responsive to the humidity level being within the starting humidity range based upon the humidity sensor, and initiate a treatment cycle during which the atomizing disinfectant generator dispenses atomized disinfectant fluid into the enclosed area.
