Abstract: A system for sequential circumferential deposition of thermoplastic composite prepreg material to layer plies of prepreg tape, allowing the continuous processing of tubular shapes and rods, comprising a floating mandrel; a first heatable folding shoe configured to heat and wrap a first prepreg tape onto the floating mandrel; a first forming tube configured to heat and pultrude the first prepreg tape so as to form a first layer ply of prepreg tape on the floating mandrel; a second heatable folding shoe configured to heat and wrap a second prepreg tape onto the first layer ply of prepreg tape on the floating mandrel; a second forming tube configured to heat and pultrude the second prepreg tape so as to form a second layer ply of prepreg tape over the first layer ply of prepreg tape on the floating mandrel.

Abstract: In accordance with an exemplary embodiment, a method is provided that includes: receiving an input as to a destination of travel for a vehicle; identifying, via a processor, a plurality of routes for the vehicle to travel to the destination; determining, via the processor, for each of the plurality of routes, a measure of difficulty of vehicle maneuvers for the vehicle to reach the destination via the route; and performing a vehicle action, via instructions provided by the processor, based on the respective measures of difficulty for the plurality of routes.

Abstract: An automated system includes transducers, at least one computing device, and at least one automated apparatus. The transducer(s) is/are driven and sensed using drive-sense circuit(s). A drives and senses drive and sense a transducer via a single line, generates a digital signal representative of a sensed analog feature to which the transducer is exposed, and transmits the digital signal to the computing device. The computing device receives digital signals from at least some of drive-sense circuits and process them in accordance with the automation process to produce an automated process command. The automated apparatus executes a portion of an automated process based on the automated process command.

Abstract: A base station identifies received backhaul traffic including IP packets based on whether or not the reception was via a secure tunnel, e.g., an IPsec tunnel. Recovered data, e.g., an IP packet from an IPsec tunnel, is associated with an IPsec identifier having a value indicating that the packet came from an IPsec tunnel. Data, e.g., recovered IP packets, associated with an identifier indicating receipt via an IPsec tunnel are stored in a first transmission buffer, e.g., a high priority transmission buffer, while other recovered IP packets which were not received via an IPsec tunnel are stored in a second transmission buffer corresponding to a lower, e.g., normal, transmission priority. A downlink transmission scheduler, e.g. an MAC or frame scheduler, schedules transmission of frames includes IP packet data from both buffers, with data in the first buffer being given higher priority to reduce latency with regard to the IPsec traffic.

Abstract: Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for correlating one or more service areas of a network with one or more geolocation coordinates to determine available services for customers to the network. A service polygon may be generated that define an area in which a particular service offered by a communications network is available. The boundaries of the service polygons may be adjusted based on information corresponding to physical features of the initial area. The service polygons may aid a communications network in providing a list of available services to potential customers or devices connected to the network by determining one or more geolocation coordinate values of a potential connection site and comparing the values to the service polygons. A network management system may determine the available services, current or in the future, to offer such services to a customer to the network.

Abstract: A modular fluid dispensing system includes a rigid bottle and multiple swappable base units. The modular fluid dispensing system includes a bottle housing to house a rigid bottle, a dispenser to dispense the fluid, and an attachment mechanism to reversibly affix the modular fluid dispensing system to a support structure. The bottle housing includes a threaded fastener to form a seal with the rigid bottle and a puncturing taper to puncture a seal of the rigid bottle. The dispenser includes a pump to initiate flow of the fluid from the rigid bottle and out a nozzle in response to a command signal from a sensor. The dispenser also includes a vacuum break port to allow an external fluid to replace the fluid in the bottle and prevent formation of a vacuum.

Abstract: This invention pertains to slurries, methods and systems that can be used in chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) of tungsten containing semiconductor device. Using the CMP slurries with additives to counter lowering of pH by tungsten polishing byproducts and maintain pH 4 or higher, the erosion of dense metal (such as tungsten) structures can be greatly diminished.

Abstract: A system for noise profile generation includes a customer gateway communicatively coupled to one or more end devices over a communication medium, at least one noise information node communicatively coupled to the customer gateway and programmed to extract noise information present on a communication path from the customer gateway to at least one of the one or more end devices, a noise profile database storing one or more noise profiles, and a noise profile generator. The noise profile generator includes at least one processor and non-transitory computer readable media having a set of instructions executable by the at least one processor to retrieve the extracted noise information associated with the communication path, determine whether the at least one noise characteristic of the extracted noise information matches with one or more noise profiles and identify at least one noise source on the communication path.

An upper guide is coupled to the inner surface of the upper clamp arm and a lower guide is coupled to the inner surface of the lower clamp arm. A connector releasably connects the second ends of the upper clamp arm and the lower clamp arm together.

Abstract: The present disclosure is related to dietary supplements. For example, this disclosure relates to compositions that include, for example, one or more agents that decrease the concentration of cyclooxygenase-2, decrease the concentration of transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily V member 1, and/or decrease calcitonin gene-related peptide concentration. In some embodiments, a composition as provided herein includes apigenin present in an amount of about 1% to about 5% w/w of the composition; and hesperidin present in an amount of about 90% to about 99% w/w of the composition. Such compositions are useful for decreasing joint pain and/or inflammation.

Abstract: Methods and systems for facilitating distribution of application functionality across a multi-tier architecture are provided. According to one embodiment, responsive to initialization of an application running on a server computer system, an instance of a data source object that implements program logic is created by the application. One or more hierarchical data maps in a form of random access memory-resident data structures are populated and retained indefinitely according to the application by the data source object by instantiating multiple data points within the hierarchical data maps and setting a name and a value of each data point based on data gathered from an arbitrary source and an optional format established by the application. Requests to store or retrieve information to or from the hierarchical data maps issued by a client computer system communicating with the server computer system via a network are responded to by the application.

The processor effectuates operations including receiving from one or more devices residing within a customer premise equipment (CPE) portion of a telecommunications network, sensor data associated with one or more customers and in response to receiving the sensor data, generating a data request for an ecosystem status for the CPE portion of the telecommunications network. The processor further effectuates operations including obtaining customer information for the one or more customers and creating an analytics environment, using the customer information, for the one or more customers. The processor further effectuates operations including performing, within the analytics environment, analytics on the sensor data to determine a state of the CPE portion of the telecommunications network for the one or more customers and in response to performing analytics on the sensor data, optimizing the telecommunications network.

In examples, a method of assembling a needle module includes preparing a needle assembly that includes a needle grouping and a drive bar and installing the needle assembly within a module housing such that the needle grouping contacts the module housing at a needle grouping contact location.

Abstract: A process and an apparatus are disclosed for the recovery of components from a hydrocarbon gas stream containing significant quantities of components more volatile than methane (hydrogen, nitrogen, etc.). The gas stream is partially condensed, then the remaining vapor is expanded to lower pressure and supplied to a fractionation tower at a mid-column feed position. The condensed liquid is cooled and divided into two portions. The first portion is expanded to tower pressure, heated by cooling the liquid, and supplied to the tower at a lower column feed position. The second portion is further cooled, expanded to tower pressure, and supplied to the tower at a top feed position. The tower overhead vapor is heated by cooling the second portion. The quantities and temperatures of the feeds to the tower maintain the overhead temperature of the tower whereby the major portion of the desired components is recovered.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes strand mounts for small cell radios. A strand mount may include a top plate, a bottom plate, and opposing side plates that form a housing having an interior cavity dimensioned to fit around one or more small cell radios, a plurality of mounting members, each mounting member coupled to the top and bottom plates within the interior cavity and configured such that a small cell radio can be mounted thereto, and one or more mounting brackets. The strand mount has the dual-capability of being mounted either horizontally on a cable strand or vertically on a pole. Alternative strand mounts and strand mount assemblies are also provided.

Abstract: An illustrative folding tailgate for an automotive vehicle includes a first wall portion and a second wall portion that are rotatably connected to one another. A first latch may be attached to the first wall portion and configured to engage with a complementary latch part at a first portion of a vehicle to lock the tailgate in a closed position. A guide member may be attached to the first wall portion and configured to move along a rail disposed at a rear of the automotive vehicle, the guide member configured to move along the rail in a manner constrained by the rail. A rotatable connection mechanism may be attached to the second wall portion and configured to attach to a second portion of a vehicle. The tailgate may be configured to open and close via folding movement of the first and second wall portions relative to one another.
