  • Patent number: 11644995
Abstract: During conversion and transfer of data from a physical machine to a virtual hard disk, a transmuter generates a catalog of contents of the physical machine. Catalog entries are compared to a set of alterations templates which alter matching data. The altered data is then stored in the virtual hard disk. Alterations templates may include filters that exclude unwanted or duplicated catalog entries, mapping filters that transfer source catalog entries to target locations on the virtual hard disk, and add-on filters that add additional data or location references to catalog entries. The disclosed process allows modifications to be made in a systematic way during data transfer.

  • Patent number: 11645287
Abstract: Disclosed are embodiments for providing batch performance using a stream processor. In one embodiment, a method is disclosed comprising receiving an event, such as a streaming event, from a client. The method determines that the event comprises a primary event and, if so, writes the primary event to a cache and returning the primary event to the client. The method later receives a second event from the client, the second event associated with the first event, annotates the second event based on the primary event, and returns the annotated second event to the client.

  • Patent number: 11645844
Abstract: According to some embodiments, disclosed are systems and methods for machine learning-based image detection and the determination of slippery conditions based therefrom. The disclosed systems and method identify a set of images that depict captured imagery in relation to at least one area of a floor at a location. These images are then analyzed via at least one slippery condition detection machine learning algorithm, which results in a determination of a classification of the area of the floor (e.g., does a puddle exist or other type of slippery condition). This information is stored and later used for training of the at least one slippery condition detection machine learning algorithm. Moreover, the information is communicated to beacons in/around the location, to alert users to the condition.

  • Patent number: 11644310
Abstract: Determining when a barometric-based approach for estimating an unknown altitude of a mobile device should not be used. Different approaches determine if estimating an unknown altitude of a mobile device using a measured atmospheric condition will result in an estimated altitude having acceptable or unacceptable error. If use of the measured atmospheric condition would result in acceptable error, the measured atmospheric condition is used to estimate the unknown altitude. If use of the measured atmospheric condition would result in unacceptable error, the measured atmospheric condition is not used to estimate the unknown altitude. The resultant altitude estimate is then used to locate the mobile device.

  • Patent number: 11644084
Abstract: A sensor is used in measuring the torque applied to a slew drive. The slew drive includes a worm gear and a worm wheel and the sensor is coupled with a securing device that is used to secure the worm gear to the slew drive housing. The sensor generates a signal which is indicative of the torque on the worm wheel. The worm gear is secured to the slew drive housing by a first bearing and a second bearing. Two end plates and eight bolts are also used to further secure the worm gear and the bearings to the slew drive housing. By tightening the bolts, a compressive force is applied on the worm gear through the bearings. The applied torque on the worm wheel causes an axial force on the worm gear. The axial force is transmitted through the worm gear, the bearings, the end plates, and the bolts. One or more sensors can be embedded in one or more of the end plates or the bolts to measure the strain, in the end plates or the bolts, due to the axial force.
