  • Patent number: 11644993
Abstract: A multi-stream restore method for reducing restore time of file data to service an external read request for file data stored by a data deduplication system employs a per-file read-ahead cache that is populated by multiple parallel internal read-ahead streams. The number of parallel read-ahead streams is dynamically variable based upon processing conditions and a set of heuristically pre-determined criteria that characterize the file data including a data access pattern that is sequential and a processing load that is below a predetermined threshold. Processing conditions are periodically monitored and adjustments to the multi-stream data access are made to optimize performance.

  • Patent number: 11645681
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer program products, for configuring online properties, such as content pages of a website, through an online user interface. A system generates the online user interface and receives, over a network and through the online user interface presented by a client device, a request to insert a restricted third party file into a user's online property. The online user interface is updated to inform the user that inclusion of the third party file in the user's online property is restricted and to provide the user with options for satisfying requirements for including the third party file in the user's online property. In response to detecting a user selection of at least one of the options, the restricted third party file is received from a content repository, and is inserted into the user's online property.

  • Patent number: 11645518
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for generating a simulation of an environment that is being interacted with by a plurality of agents over a plurality of time steps, wherein the simulation comprises a respective simulation state for each time step that specifies a respective state of each agent at the time step. In one aspect, a method comprises, for each time step: obtaining a current simulation state for the current time step; generating a plurality of candidate next simulation states for a next time step; determining, for each candidate next simulation state, a discriminative score characterizing a likelihood that the candidate next simulation state is a realistic simulation state; and selecting a candidate next simulation state as the simulation state for the next time step based on the discriminative scores for the candidate next simulation states.

  • Patent number: 11645043
Abstract: A system and method for the creation of locality sensitive hash signatures using weighted feature sets is disclosed. The disclosed methodology takes advantage of discretization mechanisms commonly used in computer systems to model the influence of the feature weights on the calculated hash signature. Pseudo random numbers required for the signature calculation are created in ascending order, which enables the signature generation mechanism to identify and avoid the unnecessary creation of pseudo random numbers to improve the performance of the signature calculation process. Further, hierarchic, tree-search like algorithms are used during the processing of signature weights to further decrease the number of required random numbers. The features of the Poisson Process model, like its ability to provide random numbers in ascending order and the split- and mergeability of Poisson Processes are used to further improve the performance of the signature calculation process.

  • Patent number: 11644311
Abstract: A method to correct a digital image to reverse the effect of signal diffusion among pixels of the digital image. For a target pixel j of the digital image, a set of signal values and a set of signal amplitudes are received, each corresponding to a set of kernel pixels i surrounding and including the target pixel j. For each kernel pixel i, a weighting coefficient is computed based on the signal amplitude of that kernel pixel i and on the signal amplitude of the target pixel j. A linear combination of signal values corresponding to the set of kernel pixels i is computed, wherein the signal value for each pixel i is weighted by the weighting coefficient corresponding to that pixel i. The linear combination is stored in volatile memory of an electronic device as a corrected signal value for the target pixel j.

  • Patent number: 11646487
Abstract: This document describes a dual-antenna system for a video-recording doorbell and associated devices and systems. The described antenna system may be implemented on an elongated printed circuit board and can be used for wideband and ultra-wideband applications. For low-cost devices, the dual-antenna system may implement diversity antennas by including first and second substantially orthogonal antennas connected to a chipset configured for single-input single-output (SISO) functionality. The dual-antenna system described herein achieves high antenna isolation and efficiency without a decoupling structure between the first and second antennas. Further, the dual-antenna system achieves high isolation while in proximity to a battery (e.g., a battery within a housing of a battery-powered, video-recording doorbell) and a metal plate for mounting the device to a wall or other structure.

  • Patent number: 11645512
Abstract: Memory layout and conversion are disclosed to improve neural network (NN) inference performance. For one example, a NN selects a memory layout for a neural network (NN) among a plurality of different memory layouts based on thresholds derived from performance simulations of the NN. The NN stores multi-dimensional NN kernel computation data using the selected memory layout during NN inference. The memory layouts to be selected can be a channel, height, width, and batches (CHWN) layout, a batches, height, width and channel (NHWC) layout, and a batches, channel, height and width (NCHW) layout. If the multi-dimensional NN kernel computation data is not in the selected memory layout, the NN transforms the multi-dimensional NN kernel computation data for the selected memory layout.
