  • Patent number: 11622225
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include methods, systems, and articles of manufacture for enabling beta testing of new features within a native application. In one embodiment, a native application executed by a client device may include executable instructions that are activated and executed only upon indication of a user belonging to a beta test group. The client device may receive a signal from a service or content provider that includes test group information indicating whether a user is a member of a test group. The client device may process the received signal to determine whether the user is a member of a test group and, if so, activates and executes certain instructions received as part of the native application that define a user interface enabling access to additional functionality unavailable to a user determined not to be a member of a test group.

The method provides a finished part with a microstructure with at least one non-equilibrium phase. The pre-alloyed powders can be powders of aluminum alloyed with iron and molybdenum, and the additive manufacturing process forms a near-net shaped part that can be finished with techniques such as machining, polishing and drilling, among others. The additive manufacturing process can be a laser melting technique such as selective laser melting or laser metal deposition and an average dendrite arm spacing of the rapidly solidified and consolidate pre-alloyed powders is less than 1.0 ?m. Finished parts formed from the aluminum alloy powders alloyed with iron and molybdenum exhibit enhanced strength at elevated temperatures such as an ultimate tensile strength greater than 400 MPa at 300° C. and greater than 350 MPa at 350° C.

  • Patent number: 11620928
Abstract: In one embodiment, a computing system may access an image to be displayed on a display. The system may perform compensation operations on the display to compensate for degradation effects of the display. The system may determine a change in an electric signal level associated with one or more light-emitting elements of the display. The change may be caused by the compensation operations. The system may determine a wavelength shift of the light-emitting elements of the display. The wavelength shift may be caused by the change of the electric signal level. The system may adjust values of RGB color components of the pixel values of the image based on the wavelength shift of the light-emitting elements of the display. The system may output the pixel values with the adjusted values of the RGB color components to the display.

  • Patent number: 11620979
Abstract: A method of sampling output audio samples includes, during a packet loss concealment event, obtaining a sequence of previous output audio samples. At each time step during the event, the method includes generating a probability distribution over possible output audio samples for the time step. Each sample includes a respective probability indicating a likelihood that the corresponding sample represents a portion of an utterance at the time step. The method also includes determining a temperature sampling value based on a function of a number of time steps that precedes the time step, and an initial, a minimum, and a maximum temperature sampling value. The method also includes applying the temperature sampling value to the probability distribution to adjust a probability of selecting possible samples and randomly selecting one of the possible samples based on the adjusted probability. The method also includes generating synthesized speech using the randomly selected sample.

  • Patent number: 11619944
Abstract: A method includes identifying route data including a threshold arrival time for a route for an autonomous vehicle (AV) and calculating, based on the route data and a fuel-efficient speed value for each segment of the route, an estimated arrival time. Responsive to the estimated arrival time not meeting the threshold arrival time, the method includes identifying at least a subset of segments that each represent a candidate for speed increase, computing, for each segment in the subset and based on the fuel economy data, a correlation metric that indicates a correlation between a change in fuel economy and a change in speed for a corresponding segment in the subset, and increasing, for at least one segment from the subset and based on a respective correlation metric, a fuel-efficient speed value of the corresponding segment from the subset to provide a speed profile reflecting the increased fuel-efficient speed value.

  • Patent number: 11620754
Abstract: A system and method are provided for optimizing histogram cumulative distribution function curves. In use, a first cumulative distribution function for a first histogram of a first pixel region of a first image is computed, and a first set of parameters for the first cumulative distribution function is extracted. A second cumulative distribution function for a second histogram of a second pixel region of the first image is computed, and a second set of parameters for the second cumulative distribution function is extracted. An interpolated cumulative distribution function comprising interpolated parameters calculated by interpolating between the first set of parameters and the second set of parameters is created. Additionally, a first equalized pixel in a second image based on a first input pixel in the first image and the interpolated cumulative distribution function is generated.
