  • Patent number: 11617664
Abstract: An adjustable trial for spinal implant sizing. The trial has a first and second plate that is adjustable between zero and degrees by use of continuously sloped edges that interface with a positioning band having reciprocal sloped edges. Protrusions are attached to each plate and the positioning band, the rotation of which is used to change the angle of the plates. A tool used to rotate the protrusions is marked with the angle of movement.

  • Patent number: 11621246
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed herein for creating metal BLs in stacked wafer memory. Using techniques described herein, metal BLs are created on a bottom surface of a wafer. The metal BLs can be created using different processes. In some configurations, a salicide process is utilized. In other configurations, a damascene process is utilized. Using metal reduces the resistance of the BLs as compared to using non-metal diffused BLs. In some configurations, wafers are stacked and bonded together to form three-dimensional memory structures.

  • Patent number: 11618418
Abstract: A wheel chock has a body with a shell and filled core construction capable of supporting high chocking loads while being relatively lightweight and portable. The chock includes walls sized and shaped to support large-diameter wheels such as wheels of large haul vehicles and mining trucks. The chock can be sized proportional to the radius of the wheel to be retained or based on the radius of curvature of a wall configured to primarily support the outer surface of the wheel. The chock can have a cut off or flattened toe or front surface that reduces weight and helps to ensure that the entire chock is load-bearing when in a chocking position. The chock can also have a flattened top surface to support the outer surface of a tire that deforms around the chock while it is being retained by the chock.

  • Patent number: 11618467
Abstract: Various technologies described herein pertain to causing presentation on a user interface of an immediate portion of a navigation route of an autonomous vehicle. A computing system of the autonomous vehicle determines whether an object detected by sensor(s) of the autonomous vehicle proximate to the immediate portion of the navigation route are of a type and relative position defined as one of consequential and inconsequential for a human passenger. In response to determining that an object has both a type and relative position defined as consequential, the computing system causes presentation on the user interface a representation of the object relative to the immediate portion of the navigation route to provide a confidence engendering indication that the autonomous vehicle has detected the object. Otherwise if inconsequential, presentation on the user interface of any representation of the object is not caused by the computing system to avoid creating a confusing presentation.

  • Patent number: 11621234
Abstract: A chip tampering detector is disclosed. The chip tampering detector includes a plurality of resistor-capacitor circuits. Each resistor-capacitor circuit includes a capacitor having a planar area that covers a sensitive area of an integrated circuit of the chip. The resistor-capacitor circuits can be probed with an input signal to generate output signals. The output signals can be measured to determine respective time-constants resistor-capacitor circuits. Tampering with a chip can alter the capacitance of a capacitor covering a sensitive area. Accordingly, a significant change of a time-constant of one or more of the resistor-capacitor circuits can be used to detect chip tampering.
