  • Patent number: 11619430
Abstract: A cooling system uses P-traps to address the oil return issues that result from a vertical separation between a compressor and a heat exchanger. Generally, the vertical piping that carries the refrigerant from the compressor to the heat exchanger includes P-traps installed at various heights to capture oil in the refrigerant and to prevent that oil from flowing back to the compressor. T-connections are coupled to the P-traps to allow the oil to drain out of the P-traps. The oil may then be collected and returned to the compressor.

  • Patent number: 11617353
Abstract: Animal sensing systems and methods are described. An animal sensing system can include an input section with an entrance and an output section having at least two output paths each having its own exit. An animal can enter the animal sensing system through the entrance. A sensor within a sensing area of the input section can detect one or more characteristics of the animal, and can communicate the detected characteristic(s) to a central processing unit. The central processing unit can use the received data to classify the animal based on the detected characteristic(s), and then control a directional guide, such as a gate, in the animal sensing system on the basis of the classification, so as to direct the animal within the animal sensing system, such as to allow access to only one of the output paths at a time. The animal may thus be allowed to exit the animal sensing system through only one output path, directing the animal to a desired location based on the classification.

  • Patent number: 11620707
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems and methods for prevention of manipulation and gaming in electronic intraday auctions. The system includes using at least one processing device for obtaining orders related to an asset from an electronic trading system. The system includes using at least one processing device for identifying a value for the asset to be used during an intraday auction involving the asset. The identified value is based on a detected order cross within the orders. The value is identified and set prior to the intraday auction. The value is located within a best bid and best offer spread (BBO) band. The system includes using at least one processing device for initiating the intraday auction involving the asset based on the identified and set value and the detected order cross. Changes to the BBO band during the intraday auction do not affect the identified and set value.

  • Patent number: 11620115
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-executable instructions for synthesizing programs using a prefix of an output. A specification of a task to synthesize a program in a domain specific language (DSL) is received. The specification includes an input and a corresponding prefix of the output. Programs for the task are synthesized. The synthesizing includes generating sub-goals based on the specification. Each of the synthesized programs include a solved subset of sub-goals and each sub-goal includes a symbol in the DSL. The symbol is transformed based on the DSL. The sub-goals are solved based on the transforming of the symbol using the input and the corresponding prefix of the output to generate the synthesized programs. The prefix of the output matches a prefix of an output from each of the plurality of synthesized programs.

  • Patent number: 11620734
Abstract: Techniques for de-aliasing depth ambiguities included within infrared phase depth images are described herein. An illuminator emits reference light towards a target object. Some of this light is reflected back and detected. A phase image is generated based on phase differences between the reference light and the reflected light. The phase differences represent changes in depth within overlapping sinusoidal periods of the reference and reflected light. The phase image also includes ambiguities because multiple different depths within the phase image share the same phase difference value, even though these depths actually correspond to different real-world depths. The phase image is fed as input to a machine learning (“ML”) component, which is configured to de-alias the ambiguities by determining, for each pixel in the phase image, a corresponding de-aliasing interval. A depth map is generated based on the phase image and any de-aliasing intervals generated by the ML component.
