  • Patent number: 11619093
Abstract: An improved roller shade system provides increased support, additional adjustments and/or increased safety. The slip plate allows the brake to slip forward and minimize damage to the clutch spring when a user pulls too hard on the hembar. The center drive mechanism extends through a bracket to allow the drive shaft to distribute power in both directions and drive two shade tube simultaneously. The tube adapter absorbs force from the spinning shade tube to minimize damage to the other components and the bead chain. The sprocket has a back wall supporting the sprocket, allowing the sprocket 130 to rest on the back flange of the sun gear to minimize pressure on the gears. An adjustment arm is adjusted to help level the shade band. The shade bands may be removed without disturbing the other shade bands in the system. A height of a hembar may be adjusted by rotating a rod within the hembar.

  • Patent number: 11618684
Abstract: Porous amorphous silica can be obtained from siliceous plant matter containing non-siliceous inorganic substances. The siliceous plant matter is soaked in an aqueous solution which includes a chelating agent. The chelating agent is present in an amount which helps to extract at least some of the non-siliceous inorganic matter. The aqueous solution is then separated from the siliceous plant matter. Beneficial properties are imparted to the siliceous plant matter by controlling the amount of at least one preselected non-siliceous inorganic substance in the siliceous plant matter. At the end of the process, the siliceous plant matter is heat treated in the presence of oxygen at a temperature to produce the resulting amorphous silica having the beneficial properties.

  • Patent number: 11619949
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to determining and responding to an internal state of a self-driving vehicle. For instance, an image of an interior of the vehicle captured by a camera mounted in the vehicle is received. The image is processed in order to identify one or more visible markers at predetermined locations within the vehicle. The internal state of the vehicle is determined based on the identified one or more visible markers. A responsive action is identified action using the determined internal state, and the vehicle is controlled in order to perform the responsive action.

  • Patent number: 11619973
Abstract: An input/output expander for a mobile device has a communications module connectible thereto. Output display signals from the mobile device and input signals to the mobile device are relayed between the mobile device and the bi-directional projection unit by the communications module. A display output projector is connected to the communications module, and the output display signal from the mobile device is converted to a first series of light outputs corresponding to the output display signal. The expander has a virtual keyboard projector generating a second series of light outputs corresponding to a virtual keyboard key arrangement. A key input sensor with a sensing coverage area encompassing the virtual keyboard key arrangement detects user input at specific positions thereon. A key input value corresponding to a specific key of the virtual keyboard key arrangement is generated.

  • Patent number: 11619992
Abstract: A method of tracking an eye of a user includes generating an infrared light, scanning the infrared light over the eye, and detecting reflections of the infrared light from the eye over an eye tracking period. A plurality of glints is identified from the reflections of the infrared light detected. A glint center position of each glint in a glint space is determined and transformed to a gaze position in a display space. At least once during the eye tracking period, an image of the eye is reconstructed from a portion of the reflections of the infrared light detected. A pupil is detected from the image, and a pupil center position is determined. A glint-pupil vector is determined from the pupil center position and the glint center position of at least one glint corresponding in space to the pupil. The glint space is recalibrated based on the glint-pupil vector.

  • Patent number: 11621971
Abstract: In an embodiment, a computer implemented method receives flow data for a network flows. The method extracts a tuple from the flow data and calculates long-term and short-term trends based at least in part on the tuple. The long-term and short-term trends are compared to determine whether a potential network anomaly exists. If a potential network anomaly does exist, the method initiates a heavy hitter detection algorithm. The method forms a low-complexity intermediate stage of processing that enables a high-complexity heavy hitter detection algorithm to execute when heavy hitters are likely to be detected.
