  • Patent number: 11621993
Abstract: The present technology relates to an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program that can ensure content-related application programs can be reliably utilized. A client 11 reproduces content distributed from a content server 12 via a network 21, and if the content being reproduced is identified by an ACR server 13, a T/SS for managing an application relating to the identified content is acquired from a T/SS server 14, a predetermined application distributed from an application server 15 is acquired on the basis of the T/SS acquired, and the activation and so on of that application is managed, and the application can therefore be reliably utilized. The present technology can, for example, be applied to a content distribution system that distributes content and content-linked applications.

  • Patent number: 11622121
Abstract: A Scalable Video Coding (SVC) process is provided for scalable video coding that takes into account color gamut primaries along with spatial resolution. The process provides for re-sampling using video color data obtained from an encoder or decoder process of a base layer (BL) in a multi-layer system to enable improved encoding and decoding in an enhancement layer (EL) or higher layers taking into account color conversion between layers. Examples of applicable SVC include MPEG-4 Advanced Video Coding (AVC) and High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC). With the SVC process, video data expressed in one color gamut space can be used for prediction in encoding with a possibly different color space, and accommodation for different spatial resolution and bit-depth can be made as well.

  • Patent number: 11622147
Abstract: This disclosure describes methods, non-transitory computer readable storage media, and systems that apply a blur filter to a digital video stream of a user to a recipient based on blur settings. The disclosed system receives a request to initiate a digital video communication between a first user (e.g., a customer) associated with a first user client device and a second user (e.g., an agent) associated with a second user client device. The disclosed system determines a blur setting (e.g., a degree of blur and an amount of time) associated with the second user indicating to blur a digital video stream from the first user client device at the second user client device. The disclosed system initiates the digital video communication by presenting a blur filter on the digital video stream according to the blur setting for display at the second user client device.

  • Patent number: 11622295
Abstract: A wireless access point (WAP) determines whether to switch from one or more first communication channels to one or more second communication channels when the one or more first communication channels are experiencing congestion. The WAP determines an amount of congestion the one or more first communication channels are experiencing. When the one or more first communication channels are experiencing congestion, the WAP determines whether one or more communication devices can support, or reliably support, a channel switching announcement signal using the one or more first communication channels. If a sufficient number of communication devices from among the one or more communication devices can support, or reliably support, the channel switching announcement signal, the WAP broadcasts the channel switching announcement signal to the one or more communication devices to announce its intention to switch from the one or more first communication channels to the one or more second communication channels.

  • Patent number: 11618446
Abstract: Example embodiments relate to measuring rotational speeds of trailer wheels using radar. A computing device may cause a vehicle radar unit to transmit radar signals toward a wheel of trailer being pulled by the vehicle. The computing device may receive radar reflections corresponding to radar signals that reflected off the wheel and determine a rotational speed of the wheel based on the radar reflections. For instance, the computing device may identify the highest or lowest frequency in the frequency spectrum of the radar reflections and use the frequency and the wheel's radius to calculate the rotational speed of the wheel. The computing device can use rotational speed measurements for trailer wheels to monitor performance of the trailer and adjust vehicle navigation accordingly. In some instances, the computing device may determine that one of the trailer wheels requires servicing based on monitoring the rotational speeds of the trailer wheels.
