Abstract: Systems as described herein may classify entities based on cleansed transactions. An entity classification server may obtain transaction data indicating an entity name and an entity code in a non-standardized format. A recommended entity code in a standardized format may be determined from a remote data store. The entity classification server may generate a score indicating a likelihood that the recommended entity code correctly identifies the entity indicated in the transaction data using a machine classifier. The entity classification server may update the entity code in the transaction data with the recommended entity code based on the score exceeding a threshold value. Accordingly, a transaction summary comprising the transaction data may be generated and provided to a computing device.

Abstract: A system and method in accordance with exemplary embodiments may include systems and methods for providing first-in-wallet payment account auctioning. In an exemplary embodiment, a method for providing first-in-wallet payment account auctioning includes, receiving, via a network, consumer preference data, current consumer financial situation data associated with a plurality of payment accounts, and account terms associated with each of the plurality of payment accounts; scoring each of the plurality of payment accounts based on the consumer preference data, the current consumer financial situation data, and the account terms and determining an optimal payment account to be the first-in-wallet account out of the plurality of payment accounts based on the scoring.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and storage media for distributed system security. In an example embodiment, a computer-executable method includes receiving a first item of executable code, calculating a hash of the first item of executable code, and comparing the calculated hash to a database of hashes. Responsive to a determination that the calculated hash does not match any hash in the database of hashes, a first security policy is applied to the first item of executable code. Triggering of the first policy indicates that the first item of executable code should be blocked from execution. If the first item of executable code does not trigger the first security policy, the method includes executing the first item of executable code and intercepting a request initiated by the first item of executable code during execution. In the request matches a second security policy, the request is blocked and/or filtered or sanitized, based on attribute-based access control policies.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for diagnosing degradation and/or alteration in an evaporative emission control system of a vehicle. In one example, a method for a vehicle may comprise, during a refueling event, detecting presence or absence of a fuel vapor canister coupled to a vent line of the evaporative emission control system of the vehicle based on a response of a hydrocarbon sensor coupled to the vent line. In this way, hydrocarbon emissions may be reduced by identifying vehicles with tampered or degraded evaporative emission control system.

Abstract: A hook and loop system for attaching a roofing membrane into the top of a building insulation board including a roofing membrane with a fleece backing having a release sheet on the fleece backing. The release sheet is manually removed in the field to attach the fleece backing directly onto a layer of hooks that have been pre-attached onto the top of the insulation board. The release layer may be somewhat sticky, yet not adhere too tightly to the fleece layer such that its removal does not damage the fleece backing. The release layer may also be pre-rolled together with the fleece backed roofing membrane and shipped together as a unit into the field.

Abstract: An aerosol-generating system includes an electric heater, a battery and control circuitry. The electric heater is configured to vaporize an aerosol-forming substance. The battery is configured to power the electric heater. The control circuitry is configured to: prevent charging of the battery in response to detecting that the electric heater is in an operation state; or prevent operation of the electric heater in response to detecting that the battery is in a charging state.

Abstract: An electrical drive system for a vehicle. The system includes a plurality of electric propulsion motors and a plurality of corresponding inverter circuits. The system also includes an auxiliary motor for driving an auxiliary device located in the vehicle. The auxiliary motor is connected to the propulsion motors and is driven by the inverter circuits. The system does not include a separate inverter for driving the auxiliary motor.

Abstract: Systems and methods taught herein enable simultaneous forward and side detection of light originating within a microfluidic channel disposed in a substrate. At least a portion of the microfluidic channel is located in the substrate relative to a first side surface of the substrate to enable simultaneous detection paths with respect to extinction (i.e., 0°) and side detection (i.e., 90°). The location of the microfluidic channel as taught herein enables a maximal half-angle for a ray of light passing from a center of the portion of the microfluidic channel through the first side surface to be in a range from 25 to 90 degrees in some embodiments. By placing at least the portion of the microfluidic channel proximate to the side surface of the substrate, a significantly greater proportion of light emitted or scattered from a particle within the microfluidic channel can be collected and imaged on a detector as compared to conventional particle processing chips.

Abstract: Melting kettles for use on vehicles for continuous processing of material for applying lines, stripes, bitumen, crack sealant or the like. The kettles disclosed herein provide heat transfer by use of oil jacketed tanks. A coil may be placed along a lower section for heat transfer through a burner for heating recirculated oil. A coil may be placed in a lower section and an upper section for heating an oil jacket, as well as heat transfer from the entire circumference of a coil placed in the upper section. An upper coil can be fluidly coupled to a lower coil and positioned within the chamber a spaced apart distance from the interior wall of the melter kettle. A mixer system rotates paddles to cause continuous transfer of material around the upper coil. The melter kettle is cylindrical, but can be corrugated to increase heatable surface area.

The systems and methods may include receiving, at a cloud compute service, a notification that a sensitive file comprising sensitive data has been received at a file receipt location, the sensitive file being sent by a client device; generating, by the cloud compute service, a container instance in response to the notification; retrieving, by the container instance, the sensitive file from the file receipt location; generating, by the container instance, a stripped file by stripping the sensitive data from the sensitive file based on a configuration file; transmitting, by the container instance, the stripped file to a storage location; deleting the sensitive file and associated file pointers from the file receipt location; and terminating the container instance, wherein terminating the container instance comprises deleting files comprising sensitive data and associated file pointers.

Abstract: A computing apparatus to provide endpoint detect and response (EDR) filtering to an enterprise, including: a processor and memory; a network interface; a network protocol to communicatively couple to a data source via the network interface; and instructions encoded within the memory to provide an EDR filtering pipeline to receive an unfiltered EDR stream via the network interface, extract an EDR record from the EDR stream, and apply a hash to the EDR record to determine that the EDR record is uncommon in context of the enterprise; and a decorator module to decorate the EDR record for in-depth analysis.

Abstract: A radiating structure assembly system includes a movable conveyor that supports fixtures. Work stations are spaced about the conveyor such that the fixtures are moved sequentially to position the fixtures at the plurality of work stations. A first work station includes a loading assembly for loading the radiating elements on the fixtures. A second work station includes a first automated vertical assembly machine for mounting a first printed circuit board to the radiating element. A third work station includes a second automated vertical assembly machine for mounting a second printed circuit board to the radiating element to create a dipole assembly. A holding device is movable with the conveyor aligns and supports the first and second printed circuit boards relative to the radiating element. A fourth work station includes an unloading assembly for removing the dipole assembly from the conveyor.

The first display light includes a first light spectrum that is different than a second light spectrum of the second display light. The optical assembly is configured to focus the first display light and the second display light for a user of the HMD. The optical assembly provides a first effective focal length to the first display light and provides a second effective focal length to the second display light.

Abstract: An expandable, adjustable inter-body fusion device is presented. The inter-body fusion device can have a first plate, a second plate, and an insert positioned substantially therebetween the first plate and the second plate. The first plate, the second plate, and the insert define an interior cavity. Moving the insert longitudinally with respect to the first and second plates increases or decreases the distance of the first plate with respect to the second plate, effectively expanding the inter-body fusion device and increasing the volume of the interior cavity. The angle between the first plate and the second plate is selectively adjustable.

Abstract: A transaction device includes a metal layer with one or more discontinuities in the metal layer. Each discontinuity comprises a gap in the metal layer extending from the front surface to the back surface, including at least one discontinuity that defines a path from the device periphery to the opening. A transponder chip module is disposed in the opening. A booster antenna is in communication with the transponder chip module. The device may include at least one fiber-reinforced epoxy laminate material layer. The transponder chip module and the booster antenna may comprise components in a payment circuit, with the metal layer electrically isolated from the payment circuit. The booster antenna may be formed on or embedded in the fiber-reinforced epoxy laminate material layer. Processes for manufacturing transaction devices including a metal layer with one or more fiber-reinforced epoxy laminate material layers are also disclosed.
