Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to video coding and particularly to methods and systems for deriving offsets in cross-component transform coefficient level reconstruction. An example method for decoding a current video block of a video bitstream is disclosed. The method includes receiving a coded video bitstream; extracting, from the coded video bitstream, a first transform coefficient of a first color component for a current video block; determining a second transform coefficient of a second color component for the current video block; deriving an offset value based on at least one of the following: a quantization step size, or the first transform coefficient; adding the offset value to the second transform coefficient to generate a modified second transform coefficient for the second color component; and decoding the current video block based on the first transform coefficient and the modified second transform coefficient of the second color component.

Abstract: A system, apparatus, computer program product, and method use a convolutional neural network to auto-determine a first floor height (FFH) and a FFH elevation (FFE) of a building. The FFH, and FFE of the building are determined with respect to the terrain or surface of the parcel of land on which the building is located. In turn, by knowing the FFH and/or FFE of the building on the parcel, it is possible to use that information while performing a flood risk assessment to a property without requiring a personal inspection of the parcel by a human.

Abstract: A circuit layer is formed by drilling vias and forming channels in a circuit layer which has catalytic particles exposed on the surfaces, channels, and vias. A first flash electroless deposition is followed by application of dry film, followed by selective laser ablation of the dry film channels and vias. A second electroless solution is applied which provides additional deposition over the first flash electroless deposition but only on the vias and trace channel areas. An electrodeposition follows, using the first deposition as a cathode. The dry film is stripped and the first electroless layer is etched, leaving only depositions in the channels and vias.

  • Publication number: 20230103248
Abstract: A method for controlling operation of a motor vehicle includes an electronic controller receiving, e.g., from a vehicle-mounted sensor array, sensor data with dynamics information for a target vehicle and, using the received sensor data, predicting a lane assignment for the target vehicle on a road segment proximate the host vehicle. The electronic controller also receives map data with roadway information for the road segment; the controller fuses the sensor and map data to construct a polynomial overlay for a host lane of the road segment across which travels the host vehicle. A piecewise linearized road map of the host lane is constructed and combined with the predicted lane assignment and polynomial overlay to calculate a lane assignment for the target vehicle. The controller then transmits one or more command signals to a resident vehicle system to execute one or more control operations using the target vehicle's calculated lane assignment.

Abstract: A method and system provide the ability to deliver media content. Input data is ingested and includes raw data for household locations and marketing data. The input data further consists of physical out-of-home activity data from advertisement exposure and business points of interest visitation, and digital internet based online activity data. The ingestion is performed through a pre-setup process that identifies a data delivery format, a data schema, and a linking key used in a Graph within a database. The input data is processed by determining when new data is ready for ingestion, identifying a file source, extracting the input data from the file source, and importing and storing the extracted input data into the Graph using the key. The input data is linked in the Graph. Measurements and analytics are generated and provide a measurement of exposure to and effectiveness of delivered media content.
