The signage monitoring system includes a vehicle processor storing data including vehicle location, vehicle event data, and existing outdoor signage information. The signage monitoring system also includes a server communicatively coupled to the vehicle processor and configured to determine existing outdoor signage effectiveness based on correlated vehicle event data and vehicle location data from a plurality of vehicles.

Abstract: A treatment formulation for removing target impurities from a system can include a synergistic combination of a polymer and a nanoparticle compound. In one aspect, a treatment formulation includes a contaminant removal agent and a solvent. The contaminant removal agent of one embodiment includes at least one nanoparticle compound, and suitable nanoparticle compounds are nitrides, oxide nanoparticles, clays, and carbon-based nanoparticles. In another embodiment, the contaminant removal agent includes at least one polymer. Suitable polymers are sulfonated PEEK polymer, sodium carboxy cellulose, poly(ethylene glycol) diamine, polyvinyl pyrrolidone functionalized with sodium salt of chloroacetic acid, polyvinyl pyrrolidone functionalized with propyl sulfonate, polyethyleneimine, 4-aminonapthalenesulfonic acid, 3-(1-pyridino)-1-propanesulfonate, and octadecylphosphonic acid.

Abstract: In a general aspect, a method includes forming, in a semiconductor device layer disposed on a semiconductor substrate, an opening between a first semiconductor device stack included in the semiconductor device layer and a second semiconductor device stack included in the semiconductor device layer. The method also includes forming a trench in the semiconductor substrate between the first semiconductor device stack and the second semiconductor device stack, the trench corresponding with the opening. The method further includes filling the trench with a first dielectric material, thinning the semiconductor substrate to expose the first dielectric material and separate the semiconductor substrate into a first substrate portion and a second substrate portion, and forming a layer of a second dielectric material on the first substrate portion, the second substrate portion and the exposed first dielectric material.

Abstract: A communication system uses multiple communications links, preferably links that use different communications media. The multiple communications links may include a high latency/high bandwidth link using a fiber-optic cable configured to carry large volumes of data but having a high latency. The communications links may also include a low latency/low bandwidth link implemented using skywave propagation of radio waves and configured to carry smaller volumes of data with a lower latency across a substantial portion of the earth's surface. The two communications links may be used together to coordinate various activities such as the buying and selling of financial instruments.

The video stylet includes a connector removably attachable to the electronic device, a flexible segment, a malleable segment and a video camera. The LES may include wireless communication capabilities.

Abstract: The disclosed technology is generally directed to a method for communication by a user equipment (UE) and a network node of a non-terrestrial network. In one example of the technology, the method may include receiving by the UE a configuration message from the network node and decoding by the UE the configuration message to obtain a delay parameter. The method further includes determining a delay value based on the delay parameter and a set of attributes associated with the UE. The set of attributes includes at least one attribute uniquely identifying the UE. The method further includes generating a Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) signal at the UE and delaying transmission of the PRACH signal by the UE to the network node based on the delay value. The PRACH signal is processible by the network node to establish a connection between the UE and the network node.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, a clearinghouse AAA server receives, from a WiFi network AAA server of a WiFi network, a request for a priority UE to access an external data network via the WiFi network, accesses a Declared Emergency Location Registry (DELR) database to determine whether a current emergency situation has been declared for the WiFi network, determines whether the priority UE is authenticated and authorized to access the external data network via the WiFi network, and determines whether the priority UE should receive priority or non-priority access to the external data network via the WiFi network. Depending on the situation, the WiFi network may be the UE's home WiFi network or a visited WiFi network having a roaming agreement with the home WiFi network. In this way, priority UEs can receive priority access to external data networks via Wifi networks during declared emergency situations.

Abstract: The present invention relates to transmucosal delivery systems, methods and kits that include agents to penetrate the mucus, stratified squamous epithelial layer, and basement membrane, to deliver a vasodilatory agent and active agent to the lamina propria and smooth muscle. The formulation of the present invention further includes having a mucolytic agent for thinning or decreasing viscosity of mucus; a solvent; a proteolytic agent that cleaves or fragments long chain proteins to create cellular spacing of the stratified squamous epithelial layer and/or basement membrane, a vasodilatory agent; and at least one active ingredient. The formulation allows for penetration of the active ingredient at the mucosal surface to the smooth muscle. The active ingredient, once at the smooth muscle, is delivered locally to the tissue or systemically to the blood stream.
