Publication number: 20250125009Abstract: Computer-based systems and methods are presented in which digital data from a subject are used to provide an initial diagnosis, and in which a polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-based assay is performed at the point-of-care to confirm and refine the initial diagnosis. Advantageously, the polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-based assay is configured as a hand-held portable device and uses a plurality of nucleic acid primers that are chosen as a function of the initial diagnosis. The primers are further chosen to allow for refinement of the initial diagnosis to enable generation of a treatment plan and assist in appropriate treatment at the point of care or use.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 17, 2024Publication date: April 17, 2025Applicant: Nant Holdings IP, LLCInventor: Patrick Soon-Shiong

Publication number: 20250122689Abstract: A selectively frictionally engaged hole cover for a bore hole cored from a paved surface that includes a cover plate configured to cover the bore hole and support vehicular traffic. An engagement mechanism is attached to the cover plate and extends down into the bore hole. The engagement mechanism is configured to be actuated by a user torque input that causes an engagement plate selectively shiftable relative to the cover plate to thereby shift an engagement member along a sloped wall and thus radially outwardly or inwardly, causing the engagement mechanism to selectively engage or disengage the wall of the bore hole. When the engagement member is in frictional contact with the hole, unintentional extraction of the engagement mechanism is prevented. The selectively frictionally engaged hole cover effectively provides a temporary cover for a bore hole in a road, parking lot, or other paved surface.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 16, 2023Publication date: April 17, 2025Applicant: Clover Equipment, LLCInventors: Mike Reardon, Kevin Reardon

Publication number: 20250125869Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for determining non-disjoint network segments in a fiber optic network. An embodiment transmits, using a signal generator, a signal into a fiber optic network. The embodiment receives, using a receiver, a set of signals comprising at least first and second ones of the set of signals for respective first and second network sections. The embodiment then compares, using a comparator, the first and second ones of the set of signals to determine if a comparison exceeds a similarity threshold. The embodiment then determines a proximity measure between the first and second network segments, using a proximity device, in response to the first and second ones of the set of signals exceeding the similarity threshold. Based on determining the proximity measure is less than a proximity threshold, determine the first and second network segments as a pair of non-disjoint network segments.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 11, 2023Publication date: April 17, 2025Applicant: Frontier Communications Holdings, LLCInventor: David M.
