  • Patent number: 11612899
Abstract: A method for isolating vibrations for centrifuge testing devices is provided. The method comprises coupling a test payload platform to a number of piezoelectric actuators and coupling the piezoelectric actuators to a reaction mass coupled to a centrifuge arm. A layer of vibration-absorbing material is sandwiched between the reaction mass and the centrifuge arm. The centrifuge arm is rotated around an axis, and the test payload platform is vibrated with the piezoelectric actuators as the centrifuge rotates, wherein the layer of vibration-absorbing material prevents vibrations from traveling down the centrifuge arm.

  • Patent number: 11615866
Abstract: A meter value that reflects the amount of genetic material stored in a reserve is stored in a database for each reserve in a bank. Meter values allow a user to track the amount of genetic material in the reserves of a bank without needing to physically measure or disturb the reserves unnecessarily. As users withdraw and deposit genetic material from and into a reserve, the meter value is changed to reflect the change in the amount of genetic material in the reserve. In certain embodiments, the use of meter values enables accurate and instant accounting of a large number of reserves of genetic material for a large number of individuals. Users and/or individuals may be notified when a meter value falls below a threshold. Notifications may prompt a user to generate additional genetic material from biological sample or an individual to provide additional biological sample.

  • Patent number: 11617182
Abstract: In a (e.g., 5G CBRS) radio system, a processor (e.g., a SAS) receives, from (e.g., CBSD) base stations, beam-level information about beams used by the base stations to communicate with UEs, uses the information to assess interference associated with the beams, and instructs the base stations to modify one or more specified beams in order to reduce the interference. In addition to powering down one or more specified beams, a base station may create new beams to attempt to satisfy UE bandwidth needs without creating unacceptable levels of interference.

  • Patent number: 11615731
Abstract: A display, system and method of providing a display are described. The display includes sets of microLEDs. Each set of microLEDs corresponds to one of a plurality of pixels of the display and produces a combination of light that forms a color of the corresponding one of the pixels. Lenses control an emission angle and emission profile of the light emitted by the sets of microLEDs. Each set of microLEDs has a red microLED that emits red light, a green microLED that emits green light, a blue microLED that emits blue light, and another microLED that emits light along a red-green locus. The red-green locus light is selected to enhance efficiency at a white point to compensate for reduced emission from the red microLED dependent on a size of the red microLED.

  • Patent number: 11613254
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a motion trajectory boundary is obtained based on a trajectory that has been planned to drive an ADV for a next time period. A safe driving area boundary is determined for the ADV based on perception data perceiving a driving environment surrounding the ADV. The motion trajectory boundary and the safe drivable area boundary are projected onto a map such as an HD map. A relative location of the ADV within the map relative to the motion trajectory and the safe drivable area boundary is determined. A fail-safe action or a fail operational action may be performed based on the relative location of the ADV in view of the motion trajectory boundary and the safe drivable area boundary.

  • Patent number: 11616458
Abstract: A sensor-less detection circuit includes a first voltage adjustment circuit providing a first output voltage at a first node using one of three input voltages. A second voltage adjustment circuit provides a second output voltage at a second node using all three, or only two, of the three input voltages. The second voltage adjustment circuit acts as an internal virtual neutral point for detecting a zero crossing event of the motor. A differential amplifier is coupled with the first and second nodes and outputs a third output voltage at a third node. A reference buffer has a reference voltage input and provides a fourth output voltage at a fourth node. A comparator is coupled with the third and fourth nodes and outputs a fifth output voltage at a fifth node, the fifth voltage indicating a zero cross event.

  • Patent number: 11616628
Abstract: The present disclosure describes techniques and systems for beam search pilots for paging channel communications. In some aspects, a user device receives, from a base station of a wireless network, a beam search pilot on a beam. The user device determines that a signal quality of the beam search pilot meets a signal quality threshold. Based on this determination, the user device transmits, to the base station, an indication that the beam search pilot meets the signal quality threshold. The user device then receives a paging channel communication on the beam provided by the base station.
