  • Patent number: 11519770
Abstract: A fuel truck is used to deliver fuel to vehicles parked at one or more locations. While the fuel truck is servicing vehicles, a user of the fuel truck uses a mobile device to assist in the management of fuel delivery. Specifically, each vehicle being serviced has a tag that is a capable of being read by the mobile device. The tag communicates information that identifies the vehicle, and the mobile device communicates with a meter on the fuel truck to track how much fuel is delivered to the identified vehicle. The mobile device also controls the meter such that fuel is allowed to flow only when the mobile device is aware of which vehicle is receiving the fuel. Thus, over time, the mobile device is able to track accurately which vehicle is receiving fuel so that the amount of fuel delivered to each vehicle can be precisely determined.

  • Patent number: 11519966
Abstract: A battery characterization system includes a drive-sense circuit (DSC), memory that stores operational instructions, and processing module(s) operably coupled to the DSC and the memory. Based on a reference signal, the DSC generates a charge signal, which includes an AC (alternating current) component, and provides the charge signal to a terminal of a battery via a single line and simultaneously to senses the charge signal via the single line to detect an electrical characteristic of the battery based on a response of the battery. The DSC generates a digital signal representative of the electrical characteristic of the battery. The processing module(s), based on the operational instructions, generate the reference signal to include a frequency sweep of the AC component of the charge signal (e.g.

  • Patent number: 11523120
Abstract: The present technology makes it easy to present an image having appropriate image quality at a receiver side that receives high-frame-rate moving image data. A video stream obtained by encoding moving image data having a high frame rate is generated. A container containing the video stream is transmitted. Blur control information for controlling blur is inserted into a layer of the container and/or a layer of the video stream. The blur control information gives, for example, weighting coefficients for individual frames in a blurring process for adding image data of neighboring frames to image data of a current frame.

  • Patent number: 11518674
Abstract: A system and method (referred to as the system) fabricates controllable atomic assemblies in two and three dimensions. The systems identify by a non-invasive imager, a local atomic structure, distribution of vacancies, and dopant atoms and modify, by a microscopic modifier, the local atomic structure, via electron beam irradiation. The systems store, by a knowledge base, cause-and-effect relationships based on a non-invasive imaging and electron scans. The systems detect, by detectors, changes in the local atomic structure induced by the electron irradiation; and fabricate, a modified atomic structure by a beam control software and feedback.

  • Patent number: 11520461
Abstract: A contribution management system and process for facilitating the identification of individual users who have made contributions to an electronic content item, and the extent of that contribution. As an example, a reader may review the list of contributors with a representation of their relative degree or amount of contribution to the document, and also allow for access to other documents that have been developed by the identified contributor. These tools can provide collaborative document users the ability to more clearly distinguish casual contributors or non-contributing owners of the document from higher-level contributors whose authorship has significantly shaped the content. In addition, the listing or identification of top contributors can be configured to facilitate communication between an interested reader and the identified contributor, which increases the ease with which members of larger organizations can collaborate, seek mentorship, or develop useful relationships.

  • Patent number: 11522844
Abstract: A key master service capable of operating on a service provider in a network enables is disclosed. The key master enables authorized parties to securely exchange client information without compromising client security. One feature of the key master service is the generation of a unique key for each client. All parties in an authorized universe access, exchange and modify client information by referencing the universal key, rather than using known client identifiers. Client information is further secured by advantageously applying an obfuscation function to the data. Obfuscated client information is stored together with the universal key as keyed client data at the client and/or server, where it may be directly accessed by the service provider or third parties. Because client information is stored and exchanged without the ability to discern either the client identity or the nature of the information, such information is secured against malicious third-party interception.

  • Patent number: 11521691
Abstract: Apparatus and methods are described to program memory cells and control bit line discharge schemes during programming based on the data pattern. The memory controller can predict program data pattern based on SLC pulse number and TLC data completion signals and use these signals to adjust when the inhibited bit lines can discharge. Once a TLC program operation have more one data, the memory controller will enable EQVDDSA_PROG to equalize to VDDSA, and then discharge. In SLC program, the memory controller will enable EQVDDSA_PROG only in first program pulse and disable it thereafter.

  • Patent number: 11517138
Abstract: The invention relates to a disposable cartridge filled with a single serve portion of a liquid ingredient to be combined with a base liquid for the preparation of a liquid product, e.g. a beverage concentrate to be combined with water, e.g. carbonated water, for the preparation of a beverage suitable for human consumption. The cartridge comprises a vertically extending channel that extends to a dispensing aperture in the bottom of the cartridge and one or more dispensing passages extending between a reservoir and the outside of the cartridge. The dispensing passages are provided with outlet openings located adjacent the aperture such that the base liquid and the liquid ingredient are dispensed in parallel flows, the liquid ingredient subsequently coating the exterior of the stream of base liquid, such that actual mixing of the liquid ingredient and base liquid only takes place after both have been dispensed.

  • Patent number: 11520796
Abstract: A method for managing data processing includes receiving, from a user of a data query system, a data query for data stored in a data store in communication with the data query system. The method also includes receiving a staleness parameter indicating an upper time boundary for the data query. The upper time boundary limits a query response to data within the data store that is older than the upper time boundary. The method further includes determining whether the data stored within the data store satisfies the staleness parameter. When a portion of the data within the data store fails to satisfy the staleness parameter, the method includes generating the query response that excludes the portion of the data that fails to satisfy the staleness parameter.

  • Patent number: 11519324
Abstract: Engine includes a cylinder having a peripheral wall defining a combustion chamber, a crankshaft, and a piston movable in the cylinder. Intake and exhaust valves regulate flow of an air into or combustion products out of the combustion chamber, respectively. An exhaust outlet port has an opening in the peripheral wall at a location between lowermost and uppermost piston positions, and an outlet port valve is associated with the exhaust outlet port. The exhaust stroke has a first exhaust stage in which combustion products exhaust through the exhaust outlet port when an upper surface of the piston is below the opening, and the outlet port valve opens. In a second, subsequent exhaust stage, during continued movement of the piston past the opening in the peripheral wall, the outlet port valve closes and remaining combustion products in the combustion chamber exhaust around the exhaust valve.
