  • Patent number: 11523256
Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for identifying a location of a user prior to sending a notification and/or tailoring notification delivery and/or receipts to a determined location of the user. In many contexts, the delivery or receipt time of these notifications is important. For example, the message may include time-sensitive information or may have been targeted based on delivering (or being received at) an optimal time. The system may determine a time zone identifier by recording a user's default or home location based on known account data and establishing a transaction data stream for identifying transactions that are outside of a radius of the default location. Upon detecting transactions outside the default location, the system may update an account of the user with a temporary location. The system may then determine a delay based on this temporary location.

  • Patent number: 11523461
Abstract: In a wireless network, a base station in 5G or 6G often retains a message on hold if the intended user device is temporarily unavailable. To alert the user device, the base station may periodically transmit a polling array consisting of extremely brief (single-bit) indicators at particular time-frequency locations assigned to each user device. The user devices can monitor the polling array, and thereby determine that they have a message on hold. Users can then request the message using a similar terse code. In addition, the base station can divide the user devices into sections, and transmit only the polling array sections that have at least one message on hold, thereby saving time and resources. The user-reply array can be similarly structured, for further resource efficiency. Many other aspects are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11520624
Abstract: Embodiments of an activities-defined software object execution management platform include instantiation of a program based on a program configuration, including customizable scheduling configurations and execution steps of program stages. A current state of the program is received from a state persistence storage. A stage configuration of the current stage is configured. A program execution readiness is determined to identify when to execute the current stage of the program based on an execution configuration and program-specific parameterized values. The current stage is instantiated based on the program execution readiness. An execution status of the stage is determined based on a validation configuration. A previous stage is determined to rollback before the current stage based on the execution status and a rollback configuration. The current state is updated in the persistent storage based on the execution of the state step to form a subsequent state of the program.
