Abstract: The disclosure relates to methods, routers, media and apparatus for implementing enhanced UPnP subscriptions. According to an embodiment of the disclosure, there is provided a method for implementing an enhanced UPnP subscription, comprising, by a UPnP-enabled router: receiving a subscription message for a subscription, wherein the subscription message specifies a delivery uniform resource locator (URL), the delivery URL is a location where an event message targeted by the subscription is to be sent; checking, based on a whitelist, whether an IP address or a domain name in the delivery URL is contained in the whitelist; and determining whether to reject the subscription message based on the checking result. Through embodiments of the disclosure, both flexible subscription and high security can be achieved.
Abstract: A gas sensor system includes a sensing tube having an outer surface, and an inner surface defining a passage. A plurality of openings is formed through the outer surface and the inner surface. Each of the plurality of openings being no greater than 0.5 millimeters (mm) in diameter. A hydrophobic sealant layer covers the sensing tube. A protective layer covers the hydrophobic sealant layer. A sensor node is arranged along the sensing tube. The sensor node includes an inlet, an outlet, and an interior chamber arranged between the inlet and the outlet. A sensor element is arranged in the sensor node. The sensor element includes a first end and a second end. A sensor cable extends along the sensing tube. The sensor cable includes a first section connected to the first end of the sensor element and a second section connected to the second end of the sensor element.
Abstract: High-strength flowable fill compositions are disclosed. The compositions include cement, aggregate (e.g. sand), water, coloring agent, polymer, and fibers. In an embodiment, the compositions include an accelerant, e.g., calcium chloride or sodium bicarbonate and/or an air entraining agent. In an embodiment, the compositions include a water-proofing agent to eliminate efflorescence. The compositions have a compressive strength of between 300 psi and 3000 psi after 1 day, a compressive strength of between 900 psi and 4000 psi after 7 days, and a compressive strength of between 1200 psi and 5000 psi after 28 days.

Abstract: A method of preparing a film negative including the steps of dispersing a UV ink in a desired pattern on a UV printing substrate; and curing the UV ink with a source of actinic radiation to crosslink and cure the UV ink and create the UV printed polymer layer in the desired pattern. Abstract: Novel compounds of formula (II) are disclosed. Compounds of formula (II) comprise ornithine derivatives or compounds that can metabolize under physiological conditions to ornithine. The pH and plasma stability of compounds of formula (II) is also described. Abstract: One example method includes receiving input concerning a boot order sequence, where the input includes VM metadata, entering a training phase which includes generating a boot sequence rule based on the input, using the boot sequence rule to generate a proposed boot sequence, performing the proposed boot sequence, and gathering information concerning performance of the proposed boot sequence. The gathered information can be used as a basis to generate a modified boot sequence.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, computer program products, and the like, for an orchestrator device associated with a scrubbing environment of a telecommunications network that receives one or more announced routing protocol advertisements from a customer device under an attack. In response to receiving the announcement, the orchestrator may configure one or more scrubbing devices of the network to begin providing the scrubbing service to packets matching the received routing announcement. A scrubbing service state for the customer may also be obtained or determined by the orchestrator. With the received route announcement and the customer profile and state information, the orchestrator may provide instructions to configure the scrubbing devices of the network based on the received information to dynamically automate scrubbing techniques without the need for a network administrator to manually configure the scrubbing environment or devices.
Abstract: A method of activating a head restraint system in a vehicle for an occupant is provided. The method comprises providing a vehicle seat having a seat belt and a head restraint in the vehicle and detecting the occupant in the vehicle. The method further comprises actuating the seat head restraint of the vehicle seat to an in-use position if the seat belt is buckled. The method further includes providing an actuation signal to an electronic control module of the vehicle if the seat head restraint is actuated.

Abstract: A method of separating gas from a fluid mixture in a production stream of a well where the method includes using an outer tube and an inner tube positioned concentrically with the outer tube to separate gas and liquid from a mixture. The production stream is directed through the outer tube and into a space between a well casing of the well and the outer tube where gas in the production stream can separate from fluid in the production stream. The separated fluid is then directed through the inner tube to a pump.

Abstract: A device for providing a 1D line of an image is disclosed. The device is based on a thin slab waveguide coupled to a beam redirecting device such as a tiltable mirror MEMS scanner, a waveguide-based phased array, or a waveguide-based optical switch switching image light between waveguides of a waveguide array coupled to a collimating element formed in the low-mode slab waveguide. The image may be formed by scanning a collimated beam propagating in the slab waveguide, or by forming the 1D singular distribution of brightness at a same time. The device may be used in a near-eye display for forming a 2D image in angular domain.
