Abstract: An acoustic liner may include an acoustic core having an array of resonant cells, and an acoustic screen disposed across the array of resonant cells. The resonant cells include a plurality of cell walls and a resonant space defined by the plurality of cell walls. The acoustic core may include a folded acoustic core. Additionally, or in the alternative, at least some of the resonant cells may include an oblique polyhedral cellular structure and/or a multitude of sound-attenuating protuberances. The acoustic screen may include a reticulate membrane and a support lattice.

Abstract: Among other things, requests are received from voice assistant devices expressed in accordance with different corresponding protocols of one or more voice assistant frameworks. Abstract: Data storage is disclosed. For instance, a request for storing target data is received including the target data and indicating the number of copies of the target data to be stored, based upon which storage chunks for storing the target data are allocated. Each storage chunk includes a data segment and a coding segment, and a group of the storage chunks are respectively configured to store a number of copies of the target data. The first number of copies are written to the data segment of each storage chunk in the group respectively. For one of the group of storage chunks, first check information is generated for checking data stored in the data segment of the storage chunk. Further, the first check information is written to the coding segment of each storage chunk in the group of storage chunks. The efficiency of multi-copy data storage is increased while reducing memory consumption.

Abstract: A public cloud is owned by a first entity and a cloud vault target is owned by a second entity, different from the first entity. A data moving micro-service is deployed to the public cloud and another data moving micro-service is deployed to the cloud vault target. A request is issued to the public cloud for a snapshot of data to vault to the cloud vault target. The snapshot is accessed to write the data to a cloud volume in the public cloud. The data moving micro-service at the public cloud and the other data moving micro-service at the cloud vault target coordinate to read the data in the cloud volume, and deduplicate and replicate the data in the cloud volume from the public cloud to the cloud vault target.
Abstract: An apparatus for deploying a table from a housing is disclosed. The apparatus including: an arm pivotally securing the table to the apparatus wherein the apparatus via the arm moves the table from a first position in a first linear direction; a deviating point that contacts the arm and pivots the table about a first axis when the arm contacts the deviating point; and an arm member slidably secured to the table at one end and pivotally secured to the arm at another end, wherein the arm member is pivotally secured to the arm and wherein pivotal movement of the table and the arm member with respect to the arm is prevented when the table extends over a pivot axis between the arm and the arm member.

Abstract: Selective receiver coatings provide high performance for concentrated solar power applications. The solar selective coating provides high solar absorptivity (90% or greater) with low IR emissivity (0.1 or less) while maintaining stability at temperatures greater than 700° C. The coating comprises a composite of a mesoporous photonic matrix with a conformal optical coating. One example composite coating includes a mesoporous photonic coating comprising a plurality of particles having sizes between 100 nm and 2000 nm, and a conformal optical coating formed by Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) that infiltrates the mesoporous structure of the photonic coating and comprises metal nanoparticles and an amorphous dielectric matrix.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a computer-implemented method of a data processing (DP) accelerator obtaining a watermark of an artificial intelligence (AI) model includes receiving, from a host device, the AI model to execute on the DP accelerator, and receiving input data that triggers output from the AI model on the DP accelerator. The DP accelerator calculates AI model output, in response to the received input and provides the output to the host device. The output can be a watermark extracted from the AI model. DP accelerator can call a security unit of the DP accelerator to digitally sign the output. In an embodiment, the security unit digitally signs the output from the AI model using a key that is retrieved from, or is derived from, a key stored in a secure storage on the security unit.

The method further includes determining, by way of a machine learning model, an extent of engagement of the actor with the robotic device based on (i) the 2D coordinates of keypoints of the first subset and (ii) for each respective keypoint of the second subset, an indicator that the respective keypoint is not visible.
