Abstract: Examples described herein relate to systems and methods for tiered updating of configuration data. Updated configuration data is transmitted to different tiers of nodes. The nodes of a first tier are commanded to use the updated configuration data. After waiting to see if any nodes of the first tier communicate a fault after using the updated configuration data, for each of the additional tiers in the CDN it is sequentially repeated to: transmit a command to the nodes of that additional tier to use the updated configuration data; and after waiting to see if any nodes of any tier communicate a fault after using the updated configuration data, transmitting a command to the nodes of another additional tier to use the updated configuration data.

Abstract: An image sensor may include an array of image pixels. The array of image pixel may be coupled to control circuitry and readout circuitry. One or more image pixels in the array may each include a coupled-gates structure coupling a photodiode at one input terminal to a capacitor at a first output terminal and to a floating diffusion region at a second output terminal. The coupled-gates structure may include a first transistor that sets a potential barrier defining overflow portions of the photodiode-generated charge. Second and third transistors in the coupled-gates structure may be modulated to transfer the overflow charge to the capacitor and to the floating diffusion region at suitable times. The second and third transistors may form a conductive path between the capacitor and the floating diffusion region for a low conversion gain mode of operation.

The processing circuitry can be configured to generate a prediction block of the current block based on the rounded motion vector MVround and the interpolation filter. The processing circuitry can be configured to determine a prediction refinement offset for a prediction sample of the prediction block, and add the prediction refinement offset to the prediction sample of the prediction block to generate a refined prediction sample.

The first and second cards are slidable relative to one another between multiple positions to selectively expose and cover each identification chip of the first and second pairs of identification chips.

Abstract: A computing device is provided, including a logic subsystem with one or more processors, and memory storing instructions executable by the logic subsystem. These instructions are executed to obtain one or more source images, segment the one or more source images to generate a plurality of segments, determine a priority order for the plurality of segments, and transmit the plurality of segments to a remote computing device in the priority order. The plurality of segments are spatial components generated by spatial decomposition of the one or more source images and/or frequency components that are generated by frequency decomposition of the one or more source images. A remote computing device may receive these components in priority order, and perform certain algorithms on individual components without waiting for the entire image to upload.

The crate can utilize guide protrusions and corresponding guide recesses to fit the components together. The height of the crate can be increased by additional tiers of side walls. Latch assemblies can be utilized to fasten adjacent components together. The crate may include a tracking or monitoring device that can monitor one or more of humidity, temperature, tilt, impact, vibration, and variety of desired conditions. The system may include Bluetooth beacons on each of the components and a Bluetooth sensor in the monitoring device in the pallet base to monitor disassembled components.

In one embodiment, a system may include one or more memory devices storing software instructions, and one or more processors configured to execute the software instructions to receive deposit information related to a point of sale deposit from a mobile device, and generate a deposit token retaining at least the deposit information and deposit authorization information. The one or more processors may also be configured to transmit the deposit token to the mobile device for displaying a readable code generated based on the deposit token, receive a point of sale deposit authorization notification from the merchant device indicating at least receipt by the merchant device of the deposit token from the mobile device, and transfer funds to a financial service account based on the received deposit information and authorization notification.

Abstract: The present technology relates to a data processing device and a data processing method, which are capable of securing excellent communication quality in data transmission using an LDPC code. In group-wise interleave, an LDPC code in which a code length N is 16200 bits and an encoding rate r is 6/15, 8/15, or 10/15 is interleaved in units of bit groups of 360 bits. In group-wise deinterleave, a sequence of the LDPC code that has undergone the group-wise interleave is restored to an original sequence. For example, the present technology can be applied to a technique of performing data transmission using an LDPC code.

Abstract: Macroparticulates may be formed through at least partial self-assembly by reacting an epoxide-containing (meth)acrylic polymer or copolymer with a compound bearing a nitrogen nucleophile. An internal cavity may be formed when functionalizing the (meth)acrylic polymer or copolymer in the presence of a hindered amine base. When appropriately functionalized, the macroparticulates may be used to sequester a contaminant from a substance in need of contaminant remediation, such as produced water or flowback water from a wellbore job site. Reclaimed water obtained from the macroparticulates may be utilized to form a treatment fluid. The macroparticulates may be located within a continuous flow line, particularly within a removable cartridge, to promote removal of at least one contaminant from a substance in need of contaminant remediation.
