Abstract: A suture clip includes a disc body having at least two adjacent portions joined by a hinge at one end and a latch at another end. Suture engagement surfaces are formed on a first and second portion of the disc body so that the first and second suture engagement surfaces can close sufficiently tightly to immobilize a pair of suture lengths therebetween when the two portions are closed and held together by the latch. A suture clip applier holds a plurality of such suture clips typically in a magazine, an open configuration where the suture engagement surfaces are held apart. Single suture clips are advanced by an advancement mechanism over a pair of suture ends having a midsection in tissue. A closing mechanism closes and latches the first and second portions of the disc body together to capture the pair of suture ends therebetween.

Abstract: A motor vehicle includes first and second drive axles coupled to respective sets of road wheels, torque actuators inclusive of rotary electric machines configured to transmit respective output torques to the drive axles, and a main controller in communication with the torque actuators. The controller receives vehicle inputs indicative of a total longitudinal and lateral motion request. In response, the controller calculates a total longitudinal torque request and/or a total longitudinal speed request, a yaw rate request, and a lateral velocity request, then determines, using a cost optimization function, a torque vector for allocating the total longitudinal torque request and/or speed request, the yaw rate request, and the lateral velocity request to the drive axles within predetermined constraints. The controller also transmits a closed-loop control signal to each torque actuator or local controllers thereof to apply the torque vector via the drive axles.

  • Publication number: 20220261372
Abstract: A method for a low voltage drive circuit (LVDC) begins by receiving data from one or more other low voltage drive circuits (LVDCs) using a bus with varying loading at one or more frequencies and continues by sampling one or more data values of the data to produce a sampled digital data value, converting the sampled digital data value to a binary string and writing the binary string to a buffer. The method continues by writing one or more additional binary strings to the buffer to form a digital word, outputting the digital word to a digital converter circuit and formatting the digital word to create a formatted digital word. The method continues by writing the formatted digital word to a second buffer, writing additional formatted digital words to the second buffer to form a data packet and finally, outputting the data packet to a host device.
