Abstract: A simulation processor generates and stores a simulation model based on conditions associated with a physical structure, such as a building. A neural network processor implements a neural network, having an input layer coupled to receive sensor data from the structure and having an output layer coupled to supply control signals to the at least one electrically operable environmental control device. The neural network is trained using the simulation model. A particle swarm optimization processor programmed to receive the simulation results and perform particle swarm optimization, ascertains optimal parameters for controlling the at least one electrically operable environmental control device and supplies these optimal parameters to the neural network processor. The neural network processor uses the optimal parameters supplied by the particle swarm optimization processor to further train the neural network.

In one example, a locking mechanism includes a chassis having a base, a first side wall extending from a surface of the base, and a second side wall extending from the surface of the base. A cavity is provided in a volume formed by the first side wall, the second side wall, and the surface of the base, wherein the cavity is configured to receive a mating component of the device. The locking mechanism also includes a cantilevered plate having a first end and a second, opposite end, wherein the cantilevered plate is attached to the first side wall of the chassis at or adjacent to the first end, and wherein the second end of the cantilevered plate is positioned with the cavity.
Abstract: In some embodiments, a wireless device receives one or more messages including one or more configuration parameters of a cell. The one or more configuration parameters indicate physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) resources for transmission of a message A (MsgA) payload of a two-step random-access procedure of the cell. The wireless device transmits, via a first PUSCH resource of the PUSCH resources, the MsgA payload for the two-step random-access procedure. Based on completing the two-step random-access procedure, the wireless device releases the PUSCH resources.

Abstract: A method for processing data packets in a communication network includes establishing a path for a flow of the data packets through the communication network. At a node along the path having a plurality of aggregated ports, a port is selected from among the plurality to serve as part of the path. A label is chosen responsively to the selected port. The label is attached to the data packets in the flow at a point on the path upstream from the node. Upon receiving the data packets at the node, the data packets are switched through the selected port responsively to the label.
Abstract: In some examples, a computer system may receive a data object including object data. For example, the system may be one of three or more systems and each system may be located at a different respective geographic location. The system may determine a value representative of the object data content. The system may further determine a plurality of chunks by dividing the object data into a plurality of data chunks based on a total number of the systems and determining a parity chunk for the plurality of data chunks. The system may determine a respective role value corresponding to each of the systems, and may send individual ones of the chunks to respective ones of the systems based on the role value and the value representative of the object data content. In some examples, each system may perform data deduplication independently of the other systems based on received chunks.

Abstract: A system and method are described for an online game service. One method includes receiving a request from a client device interacting with a game application. The request is received by a server of the online game service. Then, receiving a control signal from the client device in response to an input made when interacting with the game application. The control signal is transmitted over a communication channel between the client device and the server. Executing a game associated with the game application by the server to generate a video stream comprising a sequence of images. Compressing the sequence of images of the application in accordance with a compression process to generate a compressed sequence of images using a compression resource used by said server and at least one other server of said online game service.
Abstract: Automated uploading of user and system data from one or more source computing systems to one or more destination storage repositories is provided. A data uploader module is installed on each computing system or is accessible by each computing system from which user and/or system data may need to be exported to a destination repository. Upon command, a data uploader module reads desired user data or system data from the computing system. The read data is transformed, if required, and the data is then exported to a destination storage repository. The exported data may be stored and analyzed at the destination storage repository from which it may be subsequently exported to other destinations, including back to the source computing system from which it was originally extracted.
