Abstract: Systems and methods for shadow testing are provided. A new service may be brought online that corresponds to an existing service. The new service may be designated for shadow testing. A call may be received for the existing service from a calling device. The received call may be provided to the existing service, while an asynchronous call corresponding to the received call may be provided to the new service. A result may be received from the existing service in response to the provided call, and a result may be received from the new service in response to the asynchronous call. The result received from the existing service may be used in responding to the received call. Data regarding the result received from the new service may be logged, but the result received from the new service may be excluded from use in responding to the received call. One or more metrics evaluating performance by the new service may be generated.
Abstract: A method that electrically stimulates a heart muscle to alter the ejection profile of the heart, to control the mechanical function of the heart and reduce the observed blood pressure of the patient. The therapy may be invoked by an implantable blood pressure sensor associated with a pacemaker like device. In some cases, where a measured pretreatment blood pressure exceeds a treatment threshold, a patient's heart may be stimulated with an electrical stimulus timed relative to the patient's cardiac ejection cycle. This is done to cause dyssynchrony between at least two cardiac chambers or within a cardiac chamber, which alters the patient's cardiac ejection profile from a pretreatment cardiac ejection profile. This has the effect of reducing the patient's blood pressure from the measured pretreatment blood pressure.

Abstract: A method includes determining a voxel grid representation of occupied voxels of an environment of a robotic device based on sensor data from a depth sensor on the robotic device. The method further includes assigning a plurality of occupied voxels from the voxel grid representation to a surface within the environment. The method additionally includes determining an image to project onto the surface with a projector on the robotic device. The method further includes modifying the image to fit the surface within the environment based on the plurality of occupied voxels assigned to the surface. The method also includes causing the projector coupled to the robotic device to project the modified image onto the surface in the environment.
Abstract: An adjustable spring mounting assembly includes an adjustment plate, including a receiver, an elongated axle alignment slot and at least one height adjustment aperture, and an alignment correction insert received and held in said receiver. The alignment correction insert includes a plurality of alignment correction apertures wherein a selected one of the plurality of alignment apertures is aligned with the elongated axle alignment slot to correct axle alignment of the vehicle.
Abstract: Enforcing different policy rules that are applicable to different types of data stored at a decentralized storage service that uses a distributed ledger to authenticate and/or authorize users. Receive a request from an entity for operating on data stored or to be stored in a storage that is associated with a DID. A type of data that is requested to be operated on is then determined. One or more policy rules that are applicable to the determined type of data are accessed. Based on the one or more policy rules, determine if the operation to be performed on the data will result in the data complying with the one or more policy rules. Based on the determination, allow the request when the operation will result in the data complying with the one or more policy rules.

Abstract: A laser eye surgery system includes a laser to generate a laser beam. A spatial measurement system generates a measurement beam and measure a spatial disposition of an eye. A processor is coupled to the laser and the spatial measurement system, the processor comprising a tangible medium embodying instructions to determine a spatial model of the eye in an eye coordinate reference system based on the measurement beam. The spatial model is mapped from the eye coordinate reference system to a machine coordinate reference system. A laser fragmentation pattern is determined based on a plurality of laser fragmentation parameters. The laser fragmentation pattern and the spatial model is rotated by a first rotation angle such that the spatial model is aligned with the reference axis of the machine coordinate reference system and the rotated laser fragmentation pattern is aligned with the corneal incision.

Abstract: An access control device generally includes an electromechanical actuator operable to transition the access control device between a locked state and an unlocked state, an energy storage device operable to store electrical power from a power supply, and control circuitry. The control circuitry is configured to direct a first electrical power from the energy storage device to the electromechanical actuator in response to one or more first criteria. In a fail secure mode, the first electrical power is configured to cause the electromechanical actuator to transition the access control device to the locked state. In a fail safe mode, the first electrical power is configured to cause the electromechanical actuator to transition the access control device to the unlocked state. Certain embodiments further include a user-adjustable switch operable to transition the control circuitry between the fail secure mode and the fail safe mode.
Abstract: This disclosure relates to Multi-User Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output (MU-MIMO) (including without limitation Distributed MU-MIMO (D-MU-MIMO)) communication techniques that employ interference suppression (IS) precoding schemes (including, for example, precoding schemes that use local interference suppression and precoding schemes that use global interreference suppression).

Abstract: A wireless device receives radio resource control messages indicating: a first maximum total transmit power of a first group comprising first cell(s) of a first Radio Access Technology; and a second maximum total transmit power of a second group comprising second cell(s) of a second Radio Access Technology. A first total power for transmission of first signal(s) via the first group exceeding the first maximum total transmit power is determined. First transmission power of first signal(s) are scaled so that an updated first total power does not exceed the first maximum total transmit power. Second total power for transmission of second signal(s) via the second group exceeding the second maximum total transmit power is determined. Second transmission power of second signal(s) are scaled so that an updated second total power does not exceed the second maximum total transmit power.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a fiber optic connector for use with a fiber optic adapter. The fiber optic connector includes a connector housing having an end defining a plug portion. A ferrule assembly is mounted at least partially within the connector housing. The ferrule assembly includes a ferrule located at the plug portion of the connector housing. A sealing member is mounted about an exterior of the connector housing for providing a seal between the connector housing and the adapter. The fiber optic connector further includes first and second separate retaining mechanism for retaining the fiber optic connector within the fiber optic adapter.
Abstract: An apparatus in one embodiment comprises at least one processing device. The at least one processing device is configured to monitor performance of respective ones of a plurality of paths for accessing a logical storage device, and responsive to detection of at least one specified condition in the monitored performance relating to at least a subset of the paths, to move at least one application from a first container that utilizes a first access protocol to access the logical storage device to a second container that utilizes a second access protocol different than the first access protocol to access the logical storage device. For example, in some embodiments, the at least one processing device is configured to move an application from first container that utilizes a SCSI access protocol to a second container that utilizes an NVMe access protocol, and vice versa, responsive to detected performance issues.
