Abstract: Embodiments of this disclosure disclose an imaging system, including an eye interface device, a scanning assembly, a beam source, a free-floating mechanism, and a detection assembly. The beam source generates an electromagnetic radiation beam. The detection assembly generates a signal indicative of an intensity of a portion of the electromagnetic radiation beam reflected from the focal point location. A subsequent focal point of the electromagnetic radiation beam may be adjusted per the measured intensity signal. In some embodiments, an intensity signal below a lower threshold value may suggest a depth increase for a subsequent focal point. An intensity signal above an upper threshold value may suggest a depth decrease for a subsequent focal point. And, an intensity signal between the lower and upper thresholds may suggest a depth be maintained for a subsequent focal point. The focal point may be adjusted after each pulse or after a plurality of pulses.

Abstract: An exoskeleton device is capable of being positioned over an expandable instrument, such as a balloon catheter. The exoskeleton device may include an expandable section that receives an expander of the expandable instrument. Expansion of the expander may cause the expandable section of the exoskeleton device to expand and force the expandable section of the exoskeleton device against a surface to be treated. The expandable section may be capable of scoring the surface against which it is forced.

Abstract: In an aspect, the present disclosure provides a method for the oxidative coupling of methane to generate hydrocarbon compounds containing at least two carbon atoms (C2+ compounds). The method can include mixing a first gas stream comprising methane with a second gas stream comprising oxygen to form a third gas stream comprising methane and oxygen and performing an oxidative coupling of methane (OCM) reaction using the third gas stream to produce a product stream comprising one or more C2+ compounds.

Abstract: A modular room includes a floor having an upper surface, and a lower surface. The floor defines a floor height between the upper surface and the lower surface, and the floor defines a through aperture. At least three walls have a lower end connected to the floor and an upper end extend away from the floor, a ceiling is connected to the upper end of the walls, and a drain body is positioned in the floor aperture. The drain body has an upper surface and a lower surface and defines a drain body height between the upper and lower surfaces. The drain body height is less than the floor height, such that the drain body does not extend above the upper surface of the floor or below the lower surface of the flow while the drain body is positioned in the aperture in the floor.

Abstract: A technique facilitates testing and monitoring of a well. An artificial lift system is operated to produce a well fluid, and data is collected as the artificial lift system is operated at different flow rates. The data collected at the different, e.g. varying, flow rates is used in estimating flow performance and to enable continued monitoring of the well. In some applications, the data may be obtained by utilizing a virtual flow metering technique.

Abstract: A base station transmits a DCI comprising: an allocation of resource blocks for wireless device transmission of uplink data via a subframe of an unlicensed cell; an index indicating a starting position for the wireless device transmission of the uplink data, the index identifying one of pre-configured starting positions; and a field indicating an ending symbol for the wireless device transmission of the uplink data. The ending symbol is one of pre-configured ending symbols. The uplink data is received, based on the DCI and via the unlicensed cell, starting at the starting position in the subframe and ending before the ending symbol. The reception is based on an LBT procedure indicating a clear channel before the starting position of the subframe. The uplink data is mapped, based at least on the starting position and the ending symbol, to resource elements corresponding to the resource blocks.
Abstract: There is disclosed in one example a computing apparatus, including: a processor and a memory; a network interface; and instructions encoded within the memory to instruct the processor to: receive a uniform resource locator (URL) for analysis, the URL to access a web page via a remote server; via the network interface, retrieve from the remote server a copy of the web page; render the web page in a headless browser to provide a computer-accessible visual output; perform visual analysis of the visual output via a digital eye; compare the visual analysis to a plurality of known phishing target websites; and if the comparison identifies the web page as visually similar to a known phishing target website, detect the web page as a phishing web page.
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed for watermark outage detection. Example methods include evaluating an onset time and duration of a detected watermark outage based on a model of expected watermark outages to determine whether the detected watermark outage corresponds to at least one of the expected watermark outages represented in the model. Example methods further include generating an alert in response to determining the detected watermark outage does not correspond to at least one of the expected watermark outages included in the model, and suppressing the alert in response to determining the detected watermark outage corresponds to the at least one of the expected watermark outages represented in the model.
Abstract: Remote control devices may control electrical loads and/or load control devices of a load control system without accessing electrical wiring. The remote control device may be mounted over a mechanical switch that is installed in a multi-gang wallbox adjacent to a second electrical device, such as another mechanical switch or an electrical receptacle. The second electrical device may be recessed with respect to the remote control device and may be brought forward towards a front surface of the adapter by loosening a first set of screws that attach a yoke of the second electrical device to the multi-gang wallbox, and tightening a second set of screws that attach the adapter to the yoke of the second electrical device. The remote control device may comprise one or more configurable attachment members for attaching the adapter to the yoke of the mechanical switch and/or to the yoke of the second electrical device.

Abstract: A repeater device that includes control circuitry, which activates a slave mode in the repeater device based on a request received from a first wireless communication device. The control circuitry receives a first radio frequency signal from a base station and acquire timing information of the base station. The control circuitry executes a network time synchronization with the base station based on the acquired timing information of the base station. The repeater device in the slave mode acts as a slave of the base station based on the network time synchronization. The control circuitry executes a synchronization with a modem of the first wireless communication device in which the repeater device in the slave mode follows radio signals and a radio state of the modem of the first wireless communication device.
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for managing a wagering system. In one exemplary embodiment, state information of a live event such as a sports game may be received in real time. During the event, a plurality of possible future states of the event and their associated probabilities (and odds) may be determined based on the state information, historical information, and current in-game information. A betting market is created for betting on the possible future states at determined odds. The betting market is closed, and winning and losing bets are resolved based on updated state information.
