Abstract: The present invention generally relates to lighting systems, in particular, to adjustable down lights using an arc assembly and turntable component system providing a compact adjustable insulation contact (IC) light housing having the ability to adjust the direction of the light source, a field-swappable modular component system, and a modular trim system providing, in some scenarios, lighting flexibility and glare-free viewing angles.
Abstract: A method for facilitating a play of a legacy game is described. The method includes receiving a user input during the play of the legacy game, determining whether one or more blocks of code for servicing the user input are cached, and accessing one or more instructions of a legacy game code upon determining that the one or more blocks of code are not cached. The method further includes compiling the one or more blocks of code from the one or more instructions of the legacy game code, caching the one or more blocks of code, and executing the one or more blocks of code to display a virtual environment.

Abstract: Watermarking of an ordered event stream (OES) is disclosed. Writing events to an OES can advance populating of the OES, which can be correspond to progress values. Progress values can enable a reader to know where it is in an OES. A reported progress value can be determined from the progress values based on an event being committed to the OES. Moreover, an effective progress value can be determined from the progress values and monitoring the OES for events with that defer being committed to the OES. A watermark for the OES can be determined from the effective progress value such that reading beyond the effective progress value is restricted. This can provide confidence that the reader has read out properly committed events and has not omitted any events having deferred commitment.

Abstract: A layered secret sharing scheme in which a trust set of each of the parties receiving a share of the secret is received and used to generate an authorized set and an adversary set for reconstruction of a secret. The secret sharing scheme includes a secret generator that generates the shares distributed to the parties. Abstract: Doorbells often include a button to enable visitors to ring a chime to summon building occupants. In some embodiments, doorbells include a camera to take pictures of visitors. In several embodiments, doorbells include covers that are light filters. These light filters can cover infrared light sources such as infrared light emitting diodes. The light filters can pass infrared light while blocking visible light. In several embodiments, a front portion of a camera assembly fits through a hole in a light filter. Light filters can help secure camera assemblies and can form a portion of a doorbell's outer housing.
