Abstract: A method for autonomously navigating a subject vehicle from among a plurality of vehicles in an environment includes determining whether the subject vehicle is to be moved from a first post-production location to a second post-production location within the environment based on transportation scheduling data associated with the subject vehicle. The method includes executing a navigation routine in response to the transportation scheduling data indicating the subject vehicle is to be moved. The navigation routine includes obtaining location data associated with the plurality of vehicles, identifying a vehicle path for the subject vehicle based on the location data of the plurality of vehicles, the first post-production location, the second post-production location, or a combination thereof, and instructing the subject vehicle to autonomously travel along the vehicle path to the second post-production location.

Abstract: Systems and techniques for vehicle distributed computing for on-demand computational capacity. Systems and techniques described herein enable distribution of discrete computational work requests to other vehicle systems through generation and awarding of smart contracts to locally positioned other vehicle systems bidding for the smart contracts. Data for processing the requests is encrypted and send to the vehicle winning the smart contract, which processes the request and returns the completed work product. Completion of the smart contract initiates transfer of value to the processing vehicle as incentive for processing the work load.

Abstract: A routing system can provide containerized router processes. The routing system can execute one or more router processes, e.g., the Border Gateway Protocol, the Access Control List, etc., in containers. Thus, the router processes can be upgraded, fail, etc. without affecting other router processes or the overall function of the router. When a router process is unavailable, requesting services may send messages to the container but may receive no response. To determine the availability of the router process, the requesting service may then request the status of the router process from a state database (statedb). The statedb can be a data store and interface that stores and reports the status of containers within the router. The statedb can reply to the requesting service as to whether the router process is available and/or with other information.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to a system and methods for reporting an employee schedule, and more particularly to a system and methods for dynamically optimizing and generating employee schedules. The system may analyze a request for an employee schedule including demand data corresponding to proposed duty periods for a specific duration. The demand data is partitioned, optimized and assembled to produce one or more weekly shift configurations. Employees are then assigned to duty periods of the weekly shift configurations and a fitness function is calculated based on one or more constraints and, based on the calculated fitness function, an optimized schedule is generated. Advantageously, the system is configured to automatically output an optimized schedule including a plurality of shifts for a plurality of employees, while minimizing the amount of employer oversight for the scheduling process.

Abstract: A traffic controller device for distributing or otherwise controlling the distribution of routing information may be included in a telecommunications network. The traffic controller may receive routing tables from a plurality of network devices, such as one or more provider edge devices of the network. The traffic controller, upon receiving the routing information from the provider edge devices, may generate a routing table associated with each device providing the routing information. The traffic controller may also provide updates to one or more of the networking devices associated with the controller. The traffic controller may alter or update, at the traffic controller, the routing table associated with the target provider edge device based on the network policy. The routing information in the routing table for that device and maintained by the traffic controller may be updated with a new route or new local preferred parameter value.

Abstract: Determining which reference-level pressures, from among a plurality of available reference-level pressures, are used when estimating an altitude of a mobile device. Different systems and methods determine isobars based on reference-level pressures of weather stations, and then use the isobars in different ways to identify particular reference-level pressures for use in estimated an altitude of a mobile device. One approach determines the smallest distance between an initial estimated position of a mobile device and a neighboring isobar, and then uses that distance to identify reference-level pressures. Another approach identifies reference-level pressures between an isobar on which an initial estimated position of a mobile device is location and a neighboring isobar. Yet another approach compares the number of identified reference-level pressures and/or locations of the identified reference-level pressures against threshold conditions before determining which reference-level pressures to use.
