Abstract: A method for the fluoroscopic registration in real time for placement of pedicle screws or the like during spinal surgery, comprising creating a lateral image in which a pedicle has appropriate anatomic contour and superior endplate, advancing a pin into the pedicle starting in the posterior cortex and moved far enough into the pedicle to anchor the pin, rotating the fluoroscopy to obtain an AP image of the pedicle which is moved to render the pin to be neutral in a cephalad to caudad direction, and positioning a pedicle screw in the pedicle following 2D contour mapping generated by manual or automated templating.
Abstract: A wireless device receives one or more broadcast messages indicating a first time offset for starting a random access response (RAR) window and preamble transmission occasions. Each of the preamble transmission occasions is associated with a respective synchronization signal (SS)-physical broadcast channel (PBCH) block of SS-PBCH blocks. The wireless device determines, for a preamble transmission, a preamble transmission occasion of the preamble transmission occasions. The preamble transmission occasion is associated with an SS-PBCH block selected from the SS-PBCH blocks. The wireless device starts the RAR window from a starting time based on the preamble transmission occasion, the first time offset, and a second time offset. The wireless device receives, during the RAR window, an RAR of the preamble transmission.
Abstract: The system controls batch configuration of devices based on roles, such as presenter, in a meeting. The lifespan of such configurations on each device is limited to the duration of the event or associated activities, such as rehearsal, and will automatically revert back to previous pre-batch configuration settings outside the event or once the event ends. In such embodiments, a system can control batch configurations for devices during a rehearsal, then reverts the devices to a pre-batch configuration after the rehearsal and the event. A method for controlling batch configurations of a plurality of computing devices associated with a communication session can select computers of people having pre-determined roles, e.g., presenters, organizers, audience members. The system can configure a subset of devices of the plurality of computing devices to operate using a pre-batch configuration. The system reverts to the batch configuration after a second condition is determined for an event.

Abstract: Described herein are devices and methods for using the devices for taking measurements of an individual person's body for the purpose of determining the correct size of a bra and other garments, and methods for using the devices. The device is used to easily and accurately determine the specific size of bra or other garment that will suit a person's body, by measuring the band size, cup size, and breast root width size for the person. The device may be used to measure other parts of the body. The devices are especially useful for a person to take their own measurements with ease and accuracy.
Abstract: Some embodiments include an appliance energy source supply system for an energy source supply appliance. The appliance energy source supply system can comprise a first thermal control device and a second thermal control device. The appliance energy source supply system can be configured so that a hydrogen fuel energy source is selectively received by one of the first thermal control device or the second thermal control device before the hydrogen fuel energy source is made available to a receiver vehicle. Other embodiments of related systems, devices, and methods also are provided.
Abstract: A foam release apparatus for use in conjunction with a vessel air lubrication system has a chamber intersected by and in fluid communication with the air lubrication system return pipe and one or more sloped release channels formed within the lower portion of the chamber opposite the return pipe chamber inlet, each release channel terminating in a respective release slot formed in the vessel hull so as to fluidly communicate between the chamber and the water boundary layer beneath the hull via the release channels and release slots.

Abstract: Photon generating substrates for light-directed oligonucleotide synthesis are disclosed. Light is generated within a solid-state stack that supports growing oligonucleotides. The light may be generated by microLEDs, a pass-through liquid crystal panel, or an LCoS system. Light passes through a transmissive layer on which growing oligonucleotides are attached. Patterning of the light is controlled by selective activation of the microLEDs or by selective control of the transparency of a liquid crystal layer. Photolabile blocking groups are selectively removed by exposure to patterned light emitted from the photon generating substrate.

Abstract: A method and device for operating a Self-Driving Car (SDC) are disclosed. The device executes in real-time a first processing pipeline including generating static attributes for a plurality of potential positions of the SDC on the road segment, and caching the static attributes in association with the respective ones of the plurality of potential positions. The device executes in real-time a second processing pipeline in parallel with the first processing pipeline including generating a graph-structure for operating the SDC on the road segment. The generating the graph-structure includes generating dynamic attributes for a given edge of the graph-structure, acquiring from the cache memory static attributes for the given edge of the graph-structure, such that the given edge in the graph-structure is associated with the static attributes generated by the first processing pipeline and with the dynamic attributes generated by the second processing pipeline.

Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure enable the generation and use of secure offline tokens for account activity authentication. A processor receives an activity record including activity details including an entity identifier. The processor determines a flight booking associated with the activity record when the entity identifier includes an airline, and determines flight data associated with the flight booking. The processor automatically generates an offline token associated with the user account, including account access restrictions. The account access restrictions include a token activation period that binds the offline token to a duration of the flight, and a token entity binding that binds the offline token to use with the airline for performing in-flight account activity requests. The processor automatically causes a computing device to download the offline token to enabling performing the in-flight account activity requests with the entity during the offline token activation period.
