Abstract: A vehicle engine system includes an internal combustion engine, an air induction system configured to supply intake air to the internal combustion engine, and an evaporative emissions control (EVAP) system is configured to selectively supply purge fuel vapor to the EHC for subsequent combustion and rapid heating to a predetermined catalyst light-off temperature. The system additionally includes a booster configured to charge the intake air, and an engine bypass conduit fluidly coupled between the booster and the exhaust aftertreatment system. When the internal combustion engine is off, the booster selectively supplies a flow of intake air through the engine bypass conduit to the exhaust aftertreatment system. The flow of intake air draws purge fuel vapor from the EVAP system into the exhaust aftertreatment system.

The SR timer may be configured with an expiration duration value determined based on the SR prohibit timer IE regardless of which one of the primary PUCCH and a secondary PUCCH is employed for transmission of the SR.
Abstract: A method may include determining a set of parameters of a first wireless network that includes a first radio configured to communicate according to a first communication protocol on a plurality of overlapping channels. The method may also include determining one or more operating parameters of a second radio based on the set of parameters of the first wireless network, the second radio included in a second wireless network, co-located with the first radio, and configured to communicate according to a second communication protocol on the plurality of overlapping channels. The method may also include operating the second radio in the second wireless network according to the one or more operating parameters.
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for reducing air flow to an emission control device during a fuel shut-off event. In one example, a method may include adjusting a timing of an exhaust valve and a timing of an intake valve of a cylinder during the fuel shut-off event using a common actuator. The actuator may include a planetary gear system configured to rotate a first portion of a camshaft in a first direction and a second portion of the camshaft in a second, opposite direction.
Abstract: A search service executes on one or more computing systems and searches at least one index associated with content accessible through an application based on the at least one portion of the search query to provide search results associated with the application. A search results interface returns one or more search results from the search. At least one of the search results is associated with an application identifier identifying the application. The search service ranks the search results associated with the application with other search results from at least one other search of other content based on the search query.

Abstract: An orbital plant material feed assembly includes a drum structure and hopper assembly. An external surface of the drum structure has a curved shape and includes a peripheral groove. A width of the peripheral groove varies along the external surface of the drum structure. The hopper assembly may define a compression space between the drum structure and a portion of the hopper assembly that covers a portion of the peripheral groove.
Abstract: In an example embodiment, a bid of an impression of a piece of content, while dynamically set at impression time, may be based on a base bid that is something of a rough indicator of what the estimated price will be. That base bid then is adjusted dynamically up or down at impression time. This base bid can be determined by dividing the expected number of impressions for a day by a total daily budget. The expected number of impressions may be determined by using the empirical number of impressions from the previous day. As such, in an example embodiment, the prediction of the number of impressions for a day utilizes a corrected version of the empirical number of impressions from the prior day, with the corrected version based on a specialized formula with weights trained by a machine learning algorithm.
Abstract: An external fixation assembly for bone fusion or separation is disclosed. The assembly includes a fracture fusion tube, with a bracket slidably engaged thereon. The assembly further includes a collet clamp connected to the bracket, with a ball collet rotatably seated within the clamp, the ball collet having an aperture for receiving a bone bin therethrough and perforations for a compression engagement with a bone pin. The assembly uses a single screw for threadably engaging the ball collet, the clamp and the bracket such that the position of the bone pin, ball collet and bracket are all fixed.
Abstract: A liquid dispensing container assembly includes a container having a container interior configured to contain a supply of liquid to be dispensed. A rotatable, liquid dispensing head is carried by the container and has a dispensing surface and a dispensing port. An opening in the liquid dispensing head may communicate with the dispensing port. The liquid dispensing head includes one or more rollers disposed in one or more respective sockets. A dispensing adaptor may be disposed in the liquid dispensing head. The liquid dispensing head may be rotatable between a dispensing position wherein the opening in the liquid dispensing head aligns or registers with an opening in the dispensing adaptor to facilitate flow of the liquid from the container onto the dispensing surface of the liquid dispensing head and a closed position wherein the opening misaligns or misregisters with the opening in the dispensing adaptor.
Abstract: Methods, systems and devices associated with an electronic candle are described. In one example, an electronic candle comprises a housing having a through-hole at its top and a component shell. The component shell encloses a transfer mechanism including a driver motor and one or more gears positioned inside the component shell, a light emitting component coupled to the transfer mechanism such that the transfer mechanism causes the light emitting component to move vertically up or down to protrude from the housing or to retract into the housing, a lid positioned inside the component shell and movable to remain in at least one of an open configuration or a closed configuration, and a controller configured to turn on or off the light emitting component. The candle also includes a controller configured to turn on or off the light emitting component.
Abstract: An apparatus for removing a hook embedded within a tissue is presented. The hook has a barb extending from a point section of the hook. The apparatus includes a clamping device configured to secure the hook. A probe is coupled to the clamping device. The probe has a tip portion configured to fit within a space between the barb and the point section of the hook to allow the hook to be removed from the tissue.
Abstract: An ophthalmic technician is present with a patient in an exam room to operate eye examination equipment and transmit patient information to remote location. At that remote location, a skilled technician is present to provide the necessary optical care, and may operate the phoropter from the remote location. Using video and/or teleconferencing equipment and a phoropter located in the patient examination room along with management software, the system works to determine the final optical prescription for the patient. That information, coupled with findings from other devices which are integrated with the management software, and that the patient uses locally, are reviewed by a remote-based optometrist or ophthalmologist.

Abstract: Various methods and systems are provided for x-ray imaging. In one embodiment, a method for an x-ray imaging system comprises acquiring, with an x-ray detector, an image including a noise artifact caused by electromagnetic interference, inputting the image to a trained neural network model to obtain a corrected image with the noise artifact removed, and outputting the corrected image. In this way, row-correlated noise artifacts caused by electromagnetic interference at the x-ray detector are eliminated or cancelled in real time and image quality is improved.
Abstract: The present automated trustee payments system implements a series of automated processes which significantly reduce, and in many cases, eliminate a creditor user's work that is required to accurately and timely process incoming Chapter 13 Trustee remittances. The automated trustee payments system also effects application of the funds to the proper bankrupt debtor accounts and accounts for the funds against the proper creditor's loan account segments (e.g., the bankruptcy estate pre-petition indebtedness or the post-petition ongoing payments).
