Abstract: A weighted bag having an outer shell and a handle assembly. The outer shell has a plurality of panels and at least one of one of a pair of slots and a first end loop assembly and a second end loop assembly spaced apart from the first end loop assembly coupled to the plurality of panels. The handle assembly has a handle grasping member and a strapping assembly, the strapping assembly extending from the handle grasping member and interfacing with at least one of the pair of slots and the first and second end loop assemblies so as to couple the handle assembly to the outer shell.

Abstract: This disclosure is generally directed to harvesting electrical energy from RF signals that may be present in a vehicle. The RF signals may include cellular signals and Wi-Fi signals, for example. In an example system, an RF signal strength evaluator may be used to evaluate the RF signals in order to identify a strongest RF signal or a strongest band of RF signals that can be harvested to obtain electrical energy. An RF-to-electrical energy converter converts the RF signals(s) to electrical energy, which can be stored in an energy storage element. The energy storage element can be coupled to a device charger for charging various types of devices in the vehicle. In some instances, the system can be used to generate an ambient RF energy map that may be used by one or more vehicles to identify an optimal spot to park for harvesting RF signals.

Abstract: An autonomous pool cleaner includes a main body, a filter that is removably coupled to the main body, and an edge engagement assembly. The main body includes a top, a bottom, and one or more peripheral walls that extend between the top and the bottom. The filter is accessible for removal or installation via a particular peripheral wall of the one or more peripheral walls. The edge engagement assembly is configured to extend beyond the particular peripheral wall of the main body and removably secure the autonomous pool cleaner to an edge of a swimming pool so that the filter is accessible and vertically removable when the autonomous pool cleaner is secured to the edge.

Abstract: A system of a downhole conformable screen system including a tubular, and a screen defined by a plurality of screen segments positioned radially outward of the tubular, each of the plurality of screen segments being positioned perimetrically between two other of the screen segments, the screen being configured to expand radially to engage with an inner surface of a wellbore after the tubular and screen have been positioned within the wellbore. A method of making a conformable screen for downhole use including forming a plurality of screen segments out of a porous foam, and attaching the plurality of screen segments to a tubular to form a screen around the tubular.

Abstract: A method of storing hydrogen involves forming an excavation in the earth and constructing a storage tank therein comprised of integrated primary and secondary containment structures. The primary containment structure composed of a plurality of joinable cylindrical segments, or pre-fabricated sections joined to form a cylinder within the excavation. The secondary containment structure formed by pumping a curable, flowable composition into the cylinder, allowing it to flow out the bottom and up the second annulus to the earth's surface, and then hardening; thereby encasing the primary containment structure. The bottom of the cylinder is sealed with the bottom assembly. The top assembly is attached to the cylinder and tubing and packer are run into the cylinder creating a first annulus between the cylinder and tubing. Top assembly is sealed, fluids circulated out, and the tank dried. Thereafter, the tank is capable of safely storing hydrogen gas.

Abstract: A dynamic navigation coach system is programmed to monitor and assist drivers while keeping them engaged en route to the destination. The system may provide driver navigation assistance and training that monitors user navigational skills, driving habits, and environmental factors, and provides dynamically adjustable tools to provide varying levels of navigation assistance in a game play format. The system may selectively provide navigational directions or corrections to the driver when the driver deviates from a scheduled travel route, instead of providing instructions at every driving event.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method, system and computer program product for post-hoc image review method for short-lived Linux containers. In an embodiment, a post-hoc image review method for short-lived Linux containers includes first directing a creation of a short-lived Linux container in a container management system and applying an initial configuration to the short-lived Linux container. Thereafter, the method includes detecting a termination of the short-lived Linux container. Finally, in response to the termination, the method includes snapshotting a configuration of the short-lived Linux container, comparing the initial configuration to the snapshotted configuration, and displaying a list of differences in a container management display.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to initiating and completing peer to peer payments or peer to merchant payments initiated by financial cards and cameras of mobile devices. In some embodiments, the disclosed systems and methods may provide an accurate determination of parties involved in a peer to peer transaction, be useable with hardware and software that users are already in possession of, and securely initiate a peer to peer transaction. The disclosed systems may include a server communicatively coupled to a mobile device by a network. The server may receive an image of one or more financial cards, retrieve account information for each financial card in the received image, generate a proposed transaction based on the retrieved account information, transmit the proposed transaction to the mobile device, receive approval for the proposed transaction and initiate a payment or a transfer to an account based on the retrieved account information.

Abstract: A provider, such as a transportation management service, can manage transport for a number of riders between various locations. A customer can request transport between different locations. The provider may analyze the request for salient information, such as information corresponding to a start and end location, and determine whether there are errors in the salient information that would prevent the provider from providing the requested service. When the provider detects errors, the provider may request additional information from the customer in order to correct the errors.

Abstract: One embodiment is directed to a universal digital card (UDC) for use in a node of a distributed antenna system (DAS). The UDC is configured to convert data between an external interface format used to communicate on an external communication link and a fronthaul interface format natively used in the DAS. The UDC is configured to be selectively used either as: a donor card to communicatively couple the node to one or more base station entities via the external digital interface or a distribution card to communicatively couple the node to one or more non-DAS nodes, hubs, switches, or remote radio heads or one or more other DAS nodes access points. Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods, apparatuses, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium for point cloud compression and decompression. In a method, syntax information of a point cloud is decoded from a coded bitstream. The syntax information indicates that parallel decoding is to be performed on occupancy codes of nodes in a range of one or more partitioning depths in an octree partitioning structure of the point cloud is determined. The parallel decoding is performed on the occupancy codes of the nodes. The point cloud is reconstructed based on the occupancy codes of the nodes.

Abstract: A system and method to integrate, prioritize, and distribute multimedia assets into Internet Protocol (IP) media in real time. Embodiments include dynamic media integration based on permissible content elements/locations and app events, asset formatting based on user exposure and key performance indicators and contextual relevancy. Consumer engagement is enhanced through gesture-based interaction on the native device of the user and intelligent routing from the device of the user when performing for example a quick response (QR) or embedded code scan, which is prioritized based on user geo and other criteria and landing page and other performance parameters. The most suitable assets are dynamically selected, integrated and distributed into the content environment.

Abstract: A spinal interbody fusion device for use in a plurality of surgical approaches includes a cage, a top end, a bottom end, and at least a first side representing the width of the cage and at least a second side representing a length of the cage. The cage includes fixation holes and inserter holes, with each fixation hole being configured for accepting a screw or anchor and each inserter hole being accessible for one or more surgical approaches for performing a spinal fusion. Also included are methods for selecting a size of an intervertebral implant and methods of surgically approaching a spine of a patient for spinal surgical procedures.

Abstract: Kiosk systems are used for personalizing articles. The articles may include an item to be personalized assembled with components of packaging in a pre-hooped configuration. The system may include a housing and a personalization system within the housing. The personalization system may include a plurality of system components for personalizing the article. The system may also include a conveying system within the housing. The conveying system may be used to transfer the article in the pre-hooped configuration between the system components of the personalization systems. The system may also include a control system in the housing and/or remote from the housing. The control system may receive a personalization order and in response the control system may control the system components of the personalization systems and the conveying system so that the article is personalized without human intervention once within the housing.

Abstract: Autorack cars are disclosed. In one embodiment, the autorack car includes a car body and a pair of wheeled trucks supporting the car body. The autorack car additionally includes a stationary deck segment fixedly attached to the car body and at least one pivoting deck segment that is adjacent to the stationary deck segment and that is pivotably connected to the stationary deck segment such that the at least one pivoting deck segment is pivotable between a lowered position and a raised position relative to the stationary deck segment. The at least one pivoting deck segment is adapted to support at least one vehicle in the lowered and raised positions. The autorack car further includes at least one pivot assembly for moving the at least one pivoting deck segment between the lowered and raised positions.

Abstract: The technology relates to techniques for lightweight brackets for storm hardening of aircraft components. A bracket flange for protecting an electronics assembly from electrical storm activity can include a leg element coupled to and extending from a component of a vehicle and a first bar element extending from another end of the leg element on a plane substantially parallel to the component and over a part of an electronics assembly. The location of the bracket flange can be determined using a lightning attachment survey configured to indicate a part of the electronics assembly to which a lightning streamer attaches during an electrical surge. The location and size of the bracket flange may be configured to divert surge current away from the part of the electronics assembly to which the lightning streamer attaches in the lightning attachment survey.

Abstract: Methods are provided to prepare a low sulfur fuel from hydrocarbon sources, such as light tight oil and high sulfur fuel oil, often less desired by conventional refiners, who split crude into a wide range of differing products and may prefer presence of wide ranges (C3 or C5 to C20 or higher) of hydrocarbons. These fuels can be produced by separating feeds into untreated and treated streams, and then recombining them. Such fuels can also be formulated by combinations of light, middle and heavy range constituents in a selected manner as claimed. Not only low in sulfur, the fuels of this invention are also low in nitrogen and essentially metals free. Fuel use applications include on-board large marine transport vessels but also on-shore for large land based combustion gas turbines, boilers, fired heaters and transport vehicles and trains.
