Abstract: A charging system for a peripheral device, such as a stylus, including orientation control. The charging system includes charging circuitry and magnets. The magnets are configured so that they attract the peripheral device to an engagement surface when it is in a first orientation relative to the engagement surface so that charging circuitry in a peripheral device portion couples with charging circuitry in a charger portion. The magnets are configured so that they also repel and rotate the peripheral device when it is in a second orientation relative to the engagement surface.

Abstract: A system for automating preparation of IP applications has a server, a priority computer associated with a priority professional and a priority jurisdiction, and a second computer associated with a second professional and a second jurisdiction. A data store has portions associated with each professional, and which are only accessible by the respective professional after authentication. The priority professional sends application data for an IP application to the server for storage in the data store. The priority professional sends an instruction to initiate filing of the IP application in the second jurisdiction. A replicator on the server copies the application data to the portion of the data store associated with the second professional. A document assembler on the server assembles filing documents for the second jurisdiction by combining the application data with at least one form. The server sends the filing documents to the second professional for review and filing.
Abstract: A method and system for monitoring computer network intrusions, the system comprising at least one security device including a processor and memory. The at least one security device is communicatively coupled to a private network and configured to generate heartbeat pulses comprising operational snapshots of the at least one security device. The system further comprises one or more host systems configured to communicate with the at least one security device from an external network, transmit configuration parameters to the at least one security device, the configuration parameters including instructions for the at least one security device to operate as a given type of network asset, monitor the heartbeat pulse of the at least one security device, determine a change in integrity in the at least one security device based on the monitoring, and send one or more notification messages to a network administrator based on the determination.
Abstract: Changing operational backup parameters on a storage system includes a first actor generating a request to change operational backup parameters, providing the request from the first actor to a second actor, the second actor authorizing the request, and modifying the operational backup parameters in response to the second actor authorizing the request. The first actor may be assigned a role that allows the first actor to generate the request to change operational backup parameters of the storage system and the second actor may be assigned a role that allows the second actor to authorize the request to change operational backup parameters of the storage system. The request may include a time window provided by the first actor. Authorizing a request to change operational backup parameters of the storage system may create a token and an authorization key. The token may be indicative of the request provided by the first actor.

Abstract: A system may use a machine-learned model to determine whether to classify a sequence of one or more words within a first document that is being edited as a candidate hyperlink based at least in part on context associated with the first document. In response to classifying the sequence of one or more words as the candidate hyperlink, the system may use the machine-learned model and based at least in part on the sequence of one or more words and the context to determine one or more candidate document to be hyperlinked from the sequence of one or more words. In response to receiving an indication of a second document being selected out of the one or more candidate documents, the system may modify the first document to associate the sequence of one or more words with a hyperlink to the second document.

Abstract: Systems and methods may be used for providing more secure authentication attempts by implementing authentication systems with credentials that include interspersed noise symbols in positions selected, for example by a user. These systems and methods secure against eavesdroppers such as shoulder-surfers or man-in-the middle attacks as it is difficult for an eavesdropper to separate the noise symbols from legitimate credential symbols. Some systems and methods may use a subset of a credential with the interspersed noise symbols.
Abstract: A system predicts future positions or vergence depth of the user's eyes and generates gaze contingent content, such as for a head-mounted display (HMD), based on the predicted positions or vergence depth. The system includes an eye tracking controller that creates eye tracking information defining positions of a first eye and a second eye of a user over time. The eye tracking information is input to a neural network model that outputs the predicted positions or vergence depth. The predicted positions or vergence depth is then used to render the gaze contingent content, or to change other configurations of the HMD. Latency between the detection of user eye movement and the output of corresponding content is reduced to provide a more immersive real-time user experience.

The lighting modules are powered via a wiring harness that extends down a support pole to a power converter stack having LED drivers to control the modules. The asymmetric illumination source may be driven to change the beam angle and cutoff of illumination by independently adjusting the rows of light emitting diodes of the lighting module.

Abstract: Methods and systems for provisioning unique identifiers to a plurality of access points (APs) in a wireless network and radios associated thereto is provided. By utilizing a testing apparatus in communication via a network with the APs, the methods and systems assign a unique radio test identifier for an AP in the plurality of APs and provisions the AP radio associated with the AP in the plurality of APs with the corresponding unique radio test identifier. Abstract: A pulse radar system and method has long range unambiguous image reflections at high pulse repetition frequency (PRF), long range high resolution radial velocity not limited by Doppler Nyquist limiting, improved signal sensitivity, and strong in-band interference rejection, thereby improving existing radar by increasing the transmission pulse rate by uniquely tagging each outgoing pulse so they can be easily separated when received.
Abstract: Implementations of the subject matter described herein provide methods and systems of controlling data backup, and a computer readable storage medium. The method comprises: obtaining test data for performing data backup with a plurality of backup solutions, the plurality of backup solutions being associated with each set of values amongst a plurality of sets of values of a plurality of factors affecting the data backup; generating a training sample set based on comparison of the test data; converting the training sample set into a decision model for controlling data backup; and optimizing the decision model based on the configuration parameters obtained by performing data backup with the decision model.
