  • Patent number: 11239597
Abstract: The invention generally provides a connector recording system or platform that includes a recording system designed to interact with a connector system to read an indicia and then transfer, store, and display information associated with the positioning of the connector system in the installed component or device. The connector system includes a male housing assembly, a female housing assembly coupled to the male housing assembly in a connected state, and a connector position assurance assembly with the indicia and a locking member that is movable between locked and unlocked positions. In the locked position, the locking member secures the male housing assembly to the female housing assembly and the indicia can be read by the scanner to signal that the connector position assurance assembly is in the locked position. In the unlocked position, the indicia is in a state that does not allow the scanner to obtain information from the indicia.

  • Patent number: 11235225
Abstract: A boot form for a hockey skate is made of multiple plastic materials having different hardness properties, or different flexural moduli, and is formed via an injection-molding process or another similar process. One or more of the plastic materials may be reinforced with fibers of glass, carbon, aramid, or another stiffening material to strengthen one or more regions of the boot form. For example, pellets of a first plastic material having a flexural modulus of approximately 190 MPa (e.g., a polyamide elastomer block amide) may be injected into a mold to form a softer upper region of the boot form. And pellets of a second plastic having a flexural modulus of approximately 20,000 MPa (e.g., a Nylon 12 with long glass fibers) may be injected into the mold to form a stiffer lower region of the boot form. Additional skate components may then be attached to the boot form.

  • Patent number: 11236865
Abstract: An automatic system and method to detect moisture in a compressed gas cylinder is faster, less labor intensive and has increased accuracy, including the ability to detect free moisture, over prior methods and devices. This device and method avoid the need to individually invert cylinders. A system to detect moisture level in a compressed gas cylinder includes a gas vent/fill line that is in fluid communication with a compressed gas cylinder; a vacuum system with a vacuum line and a vacuum pump connected to the vacuum line; and a dewpoint monitor connected to a dewpoint line and the vacuum line. When a compressed gas cylinder is connected to the gas vent/fill line, the vacuum pump draws gas from the gas vent/fill line into the vacuum line and the dewpoint line, and into the dewpoint monitor, where the dewpoint monitor measures moisture content in compressed gas.

  • Patent number: 11238868
Abstract: Implementations set forth herein relate to a system that employs an automated assistant to further interactions between a user and another application, which can provide the automated assistant with permission to initialize relevant application actions simultaneous to the user interacting with the other application. Furthermore, the system can allow the automated assistant to initialize actions of different applications, despite being actively operating a particular application. Available actions can be gleaned by the automated assistant using various application-specific schemas, which can be compared with incoming requests from a user to the automated assistant. Additional data, such as context and historical interactions, can also be used to rank and identify a suitable application action to be initialized via the automated assistant.

  • Patent number: 11240609
Abstract: An audio device that includes a music classifier that determines when music is present in an audio signal is disclosed. The audio device is configured to receive audio, process the received audio, and to output the processed audio to a user. The processing may be adjusted based on the output of the music classifier. The music classifier utilizes a plurality of decision making units, each operating on the received audio independently. The decision making units are simplified to reduce the processing, and therefore the power, necessary for operation. Accordingly each decision making unit may be insufficient to determine music alone but in combination may accurately detect music while consuming power at a rate that is suitable for a mobile device, such as a hearing aid.

  • Patent number: 11238087
Abstract: A machine may be configured to generate an enhanced user interface for displaying social analytics based on viral mentions and threading. For example, the machine accesses a plurality of items of digital content. The machine extracts, for each of the plurality of items of digital content, a title that describes a particular item of digital content. The machine generates a group of items of digital content based on the extracted titles associated with the plurality of items of digital content. The machine identifies, from the group of items of digital content, an original item of digital content and one or more subsequent items of digital content. The machine determines a strength value associated with the original item of digital content. The machine generates and causes a display of an enhanced user interface that displays the title and the strength value associated with the original item of digital content.

  • Patent number: 11237537
Abstract: A system and method for advanced digital economization for an HVAC system having an economizer. A digital processing unit is configured to open a damper of an economizer within a dead-band range that allows for preemptive cooling prior to a call for cooling. This economization strategy allows for free cooling (outside air) without having to pay energy costs for cooled (air-conditioned) air. The system and method can be used with or without demand control ventilation (DCV). The method also includes a “self-learning” strategy with outside air and return air sensor to regularly sense past economizer damper modifications and average out recent readings to help set the dead-band range. The method can include the ability to work in conjunction with a variable supply fan speed control, provide fault detection, self-correct, auto-configure, and report system status.

  • Patent number: 11238239
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes establishing a video call between multiple client systems while persistently maintaining access to an assistant system during the video call. A request to be performed by the assistant system during the video call may then be received from a first client system; this request may reference one or more second users in the video call. An intent of the request and one or more user identifiers of these one or more second users referenced by the request may be determined, and the assistant system may be instructed to execute the request based on the determined intent and user identifiers. Finally, a response to the request may be sent to one more of the multiple client systems while maintaining the video call between these client systems.
