Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method of charging packets in a mobile network using a combined packet gateway (PGW) and serving gateway (SGW) which includes receiving a data packet; determining at least one of a rating group and a service rule associated with the data packet; and determining a state of a user device associated with the data packet. When the determined state of the user device comprises a connected state, the method includes charging the data packet, including updating an amount of credit in an account associated with the user device based on the at least one of the rating group and the service rule, and sending the data packet to an enodeB. When the determined state of the user device comprises an idle state, the method includes preventing delivery of the data packet to the enodeB such that the data packet is not charged.

  • Patent number: 11203168
Abstract: A method of manufacturing cross-corrugated support structures is provided. A mold having a molding surface with a first plurality and a second plurality of corrugations therein is used to introduce corrugations into a flexible, carbonaceous sheet. Cross-corrugations are introduced into the sheet by placing the sheet onto the molding surface, encapsulating the sheet to form a vacuum chamber, and evacuating the vacuum chamber of air. As air is evacuated from the vacuum chamber, the sheet is drawn upon the molding surface causing the sheet to conform to the shape of the molding surface. Thermosetting resin is infused into the sheet and cured causing the sheet to rigidly retain the shape of the molding surface. The sheet is further reinforced by securing at least one support member to the sheet using thermosetting resin.

  • Patent number: 11205118
Abstract: A deep neural network (DNN) module utilizes parallel kernel and parallel input processing to decrease bandwidth utilization, reduce power consumption, improve neuron multiplier stability, and provide other technical benefits. Parallel kernel processing enables the DNN module to load input data only once for processing by multiple kernels. Parallel input processing enables the DNN module to load kernel data only once for processing with multiple input data. The DNN module can implement other power-saving techniques like clock-gating (i.e. removing the clock from) and power-gating (i.e. removing the power from) banks of accumulators based upon usage of the accumulators. For example, individual banks of accumulators can be power-gated when all accumulators in a bank are not in use, and do not store data for a future calculation. Banks of accumulators can also be clock-gated when all accumulators in a bank are not in use, but store data for a future calculation.
