Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for rapid identification and access to relevant regulatory documents. A data model relating regulatory mandates and requirements to citations appearing within an enforcement document is used to rapidly access specific citations within an enforcement document. In the case of image-based enforcement documents, the originality of these documents is preserved while allowing a user to see where the relevant citations appear in the document images. The relevant citations are further compared to business policies to identify potential impacts of regulatory mandates and requirements.

Abstract: A method, computer program, and computer system are provided for video coding. Video data having one or more subpictures is received. Resampling parameters and spatial scalability parameters corresponding to the subpictures are extracted. The resampling and spatial scalability parameters correspond to one or more flags signaled in a parameter set associated with the video data The video data is decoded based on the extracted resampling and spatial scalability parameters.

Abstract: A method of video decoding performed in a video decoder is disclosed. A syntax element can be received from a bitstream of a coded video that indicates whether a sequence of pictures are monochrome or include three color components that are coded separately. By inferring a value of a syntax element, a coding tool can be disabled when the syntax element indicates that the sequence of pictures are monochrome or include three color components that are coded separately. The coding tool uses multiple color components of a picture as input or depends on a chroma component of a picture. Examples of the disabled coding tools can include joint coding of chroma residuals, active color transform (ACT), or block-based delta pulse code modulation (BDPCM) for chroma component.

Abstract: Presented herein are embodiments of an unsupervised cross-lingual sentiment classification model (which may be referred to as multi-view encoder-classifier (MVEC)) that leverages an unsupervised machine translation (UMT) system and a language discriminator. Unlike previous language model (LM)-based fine-tuning approaches that adjust parameters solely based on the classification error on training data, embodiments employ an encoder-decoder framework of an UMT as a regularization component on the shared network parameters. In one or more embodiments, the cross-lingual encoder of embodiments learns a shared representation, which is effective for both reconstructing input sentences of two languages and generating more representative views from the input for classification. Experiments on five language pairs verify that an MVEC embodiment significantly outperforms other models for 8/11 sentiment classification tasks.

Abstract: A sterilizing system including a sterilization device that emits UVC radiation and visible radiation into an irradiation field, a sensor to detect an object within the irradiation field and measure photoluminescence of a target pathogen within the irradiation field, and an indicator device. Control circuitry may control operation of sterilizing radiation responsive to detecting the target pathogen and collect information about contamination levels. A server may collect and aggregate contamination level information from multiple sterilization devices.

A user equipment (110) receives an active-coordination-set beam-sweep (602) including multiple time slots (610), each of the multiple time slots including one or more candidate beams. The user equipment (110) determines a respective link-quality metric for each of the received one or more candidate beams in each of the time slots. Based on the link-quality metrics, the user equipment (110) selects the one or more candidate beams in a time slot (610) to use for wireless communication. The user equipment (110) transmits a beam-acquired indication (620) at a first time offset (604) after the time slot (610) in which the selected one or more candidate beams are received, the transmitting directing the base stations (120) to use the selected one or more candidate beams for the wireless communication.

Abstract: Techniques to facilitate a migration process of source data to cloud storage are described. These techniques use configuration information with pre-configured settings for the migration process by leveraging such information to build a component to execute the migration process. These settings can be used to identify computing modules (including interfaces) for generating a script for loading the source data to a storage location managed by a cloud storage service. The script may rely upon a data model for organizing the source data, which also is provided in the settings. Once the source data is available, the source data is converted into a suitable migration dataset and communicated with the script to the cloud storage service in a single operation. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract: A method for producing a fencing material including the steps of: providing a border material having an interior surface; providing a mesh material having a front and a back; treating the interior surface of the border material to produce a tacky border material surface; placing a portion of the front and/or the back of the mesh material against the tacky border material surface; pressing the tacky border material surface and the mesh material together; and thermally bonding at least some portion of the front and the back of the mesh material with the interior surface of the border material. A current block coded in intra block copy mode or string matching mode is predicted from among the one or more blocks based on a coded block vector or a string offset vector corresponding to one or more spatial neighboring or non-neighboring blocks from among the one or more blocks. The video data is decoded based on the predicted current block.

The foam-based seat includes a base, main body, a cutout opening formed in the main body, fitted fabric configured to encase the main body, and a removable nesting insert configured to friction fit within the cutout opening. The removable nesting insert can be inserted into the cutout opening, or removed, to provide a myriad of seating arrangements. The foam-based seat may constitute a variety of geometries, including one embodiment that is square with a square removable nesting insert, and another embodiment that is round with an expanded base and a circular nesting insert. The enclosure for a foam-based seat includes a rigid frame with two ends, an internal opening configured to circumscribe a foam-based seat, and a shelving unit that extends from the two ends of the rigid frame.
