Abstract: A system for assisting in aligning a vehicle for hitching with a trailer includes a vehicle steering system, a detection system outputting a signal including object position information of an area to a rear of the vehicle, and a controller. The controller receiving the object position data and identifying a targeted trailer and at least one additional object within the area to the rear of the vehicle and controlling the vehicle steering system to maneuver the vehicle during reversing to align a hitch ball mounted on the vehicle to a coupler of the targeted trailer. Upon aligning the hitch ball with the coupler, the controller presents an indication, if it is determined that the at least one additional object is within a threshold distance of a side of the targeted trailer.

Abstract: In order for hydraulic disk brakes to function properly over time, associated brake pads are changed periodically. In order to exchange old brake pads for replacement brake pads, a disk brake may require pushing back the brake pistons within a brake caliper body in order to make room for installation of replacement pads. Current tools and methods typically require removal of a wheel from a vehicle, removal of a brake rotor from the wheel, and/or removal of the brake caliper body from a rotor. The presently disclosed caliper piston tool allows brake pads to be replaced without dismantling various components of the vehicle, resulting in significant time and cost savings as well as convenience for do-it-yourself and professional mechanics alike.

Abstract: Systems and methods for non-invasive fat reduction can include targeting a region of interest below a surface of skin, which contains fat and delivering ultrasound energy to the region of interest. The ultrasound energy generates a thermal lesion with said ultrasound energy on a fat cell. The lesion can create an opening in the surface of the fat cell, which allows the draining of a fluid out of the fat cell and through the opening. In addition, by applying ultrasound energy to fat cells to increase the temperature to between 43 degrees and 49 degrees, cell apoptosis can be realized, thereby resulting in reduction of fat.
Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments of an aging heat treatment that can be used to replace conventional aging steps when making alloy embodiments of the present disclosure. Embodiments of the disclosed aging heat treatment reduce cost and complexity in producing aluminum alloy-based components while also promoting and/or improving microstructure stability of the aluminum alloys.

Abstract: Methods and systems for the use of detected objects for image processing are described. A computing device autonomously controlling a vehicle may receive images of the environment surrounding the vehicle from an image-capture device coupled to the vehicle. In order to process the images, the computing device may receive information indicating characteristics of objects in the images from one or more sources coupled to the vehicle. Examples of sources may include RADAR, LIDAR, a map, sensors, a global positioning system (GPS), or other cameras. The computing device may use the information indicating characteristics of the objects to process received images, including determining the approximate locations of objects within the images. Further, while processing the image, the computing device may use information from sources to determine portions of the image to focus upon that may allow the computing device to determine a control strategy based on portions of the image.
Abstract: Systems for identifying, tagging, modifying and reconciling information contained in a document are the subjects of the present disclosure. In one embodiment, the document may be linked to one or more source data formats, which are maintained as the document is modified by one or more users over time. The modifications are tracked and associated source data is updated to reflect those modifications. Clauses, terms and conditions may be revised and templates created based on revisions, and accessed by a user for subsequent use. Methods for selecting, modifying, reconciling and tracking a document, as well as presenting suggestions for a document are also disclosed.

Abstract: Hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processes, indicators, and similar methods may be used improve new radio performance in a number of ways. For example HARQ processes may be retransmitted, even before a response is expected, a number of times. Separate acknowledgement may be provided for various code blocks within a single transport block. Multi-bit ACK/NACK signaling may be used to efficiently express the status of individual code blocks or groups of code blocks within a transmission block. Grantless transmissions may be acknowledged implicitly, e.g., via responses comprising downlink control information or sent via a physical hybrid automatic repeat request indicator channel.
