Abstract: A method for localizing sound when enabling participation in a live event, including establishing a multi-player gaming session of a gaming application that generates an interactive gaming world, the live event being a real-world venue where players playing the gaming application are present. A live view of the venue is generated based on captured video streams, and generated for a physical POV anchored to a physical location in the venue. Audio is generated for the live event, and modified to reflect acoustics of the real-world venue for the physical location. The modified audio is synchronized to the live view. The live view and synchronized audio are streamed to an HMD of a remote user located outside the venue, and presents an augmented reality view of the live event.
Abstract: This invention relates to a method and a system for performing seamless authentication and identification of a mobile subscriber requesting to access a 3rd Party Merchant's online platform. The subscriber verification system intercepts a message sent from a first network node to a second network node during a data session establishment procedure. The subscriber verification system extracts a first set of identification values associated with a user equipment (UE) from the intercepted message. After the data session is established, the UE sends an encrypted request to access the Merchant server. The Merchant server identifies a second set of identification values associated with the encrypted request and sends them for validation to the subscriber verification system. The second set of identification values is compared against the first set of identification values. If the two set of identification values match, the UE is authenticated.
Abstract: A system of cameras can be used to generate a complete field of view within an edge network. For example, one camera can have a field of view where part of the view is obstructed by an object and/or by the camera's orientation. Yet another camera that is a part of the edge network can supplement the view of the first camera by providing an alternate view. The two views can be stitched together by a coordinate system such that a complete field of view can be utilized by both cameras. Additionally, where a field of view is not available by any stationary camera, the system can dispatch a mobile camera to help supplement the views.

The guidance system sends the steering and speed commands to a steering and speed control system to steer the vehicle and move the trailer along the parking path until the trailer reaches the target point in the parking area.

Abstract: Techniques to transmit encoded data along a transmission medium and decode the transmitted data along the transmission medium are provided. Some techniques include logic to encode data transmitted along a transmission medium, such as a fiberoptic line or cable, where the encoding is pursuant to a conversion between a first and second colorspace. The logic may further be configured to decode the data once it is received at a node along the fiberoptic line, where the colorspace conversion provides the basis, key, or cipher for preforming the decoding operation. The logic may be further configured to alter the encryption and decryption basis, key, or cypher by altering the colorspace scheme defining the encoding (and by extension the decoding) during transmission, including a transmission that takes place after a previous transmission governed by the previously defined (and subsequently altered) colorspace conversion scheme. Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method creates personalized artwork, including word clouds, for making personalized goods. The system may include an art creation server, a data store, and a controller with a plurality of subsystems. The method and system including a plurality of embedded settop boxes (eSTBs) of at least two different vendors requesting IP provisioning according to a first protocol. The method and system further including a network provisioning unit (NPU) in communication with the eSTBs over the network for responding to the eSTB IP provisioning requests with IP provisioning data, wherein the eSTB IP provisioning data is outputted according to the first protocol such that provisioning of the eSTBs is standard for each vendor in so far as each eSTB utilizes the first protocol for provisioning.
Abstract: A system for assisting in aligning a vehicle for hitching with a trailer includes a vehicle steering system, a detection system outputting a signal including object position information of an area to a rear of the vehicle, and a controller. The controller receiving the object position data and identifying a targeted trailer and at least one additional object within the area to the rear of the vehicle and controlling the vehicle steering system to maneuver the vehicle during reversing to align a hitch ball mounted on the vehicle to a coupler of the targeted trailer. Upon aligning the hitch ball with the coupler, the controller presents an indication, if it is determined that the at least one additional object is within a threshold distance of a side of the targeted trailer.
