Abstract: This invention is an optical structure with a plurality of movable reflective elements. These reflective elements have first configurations which allow transmission of environmental light. These reflective elements have second configurations which block (or reduce) transmission of environmental light and which reflect light from a virtual-object display toward a person's eye. This enables display of a relatively-opaque virtual object in an area of a person's field of view, while providing the person with a relatively-clear view of their environment in the rest of their field of view.

The cable seal can include various features such as an offset actuator for pressurizing the seal, a latch for securing the seal in a pocket of an enclosure, a gel containment extension for covering a portion of a perimeter of a volume of gel of the seal, a gel interlock feature and/or a feature for adjusting the gel volume of the seal.

Abstract: A method can include receiving a signal from a user device of a user. The method can further include processing, via a machine learning model, user intent labels, wherein: the machine learning model is pre-trained based on historical input data and historical output data associated with multiple users comprising the user, the historical input data comprise historical feature embedding vectors associated with the multiple users, and the historical output data comprise historical intent labels based at least in part on uttered intents of the multiple users. The method can also include processing one or more user intent candidates of the user intent labels. The method can further include processing one or more user interface components for the one or more user intent candidates. Additionally, the method can include transmitting the one or more user interface components to be presented on a user interface executed on the user device of the user. Abstract: Example embodiments of systems and methods for data transmission system between transmitting and receiving devices are provided. In an embodiment, each of the transmitting and receiving devices can contain a master key. The transmitting device can generate a diversified key using the master key, protect a counter value and encrypt data prior to transmitting to the receiving device, which can generate the diversified key based on the master key and can decrypt the data and validate the protected counter value using the diversified key.

In accordance with one aspect, the disclosure includes performing a spectral analysis on a Laplacian formatted electroencephalograph (EEG) data to generate a spectral coherence data; performing a plurality of regression analysis on the spectral coherence data to generate a smoothed spectral coherence data; performing a principal component analysis (PCA) on the smoothed spectral coherence data to generate an orthogonalized spectral coherence data; and performing a multivariate discriminant function analysis (DFA) on the orthogonalized spectral coherence data to generate a plurality of diagnostic rules and a diagnosis.

Abstract: The methods and systems improve uncorrectable error (UE) and silent data corruption (SDC) rates for memory chips and improve error correction of the memory chips. The systems may include a memory bank with a plurality of memory chips in communication with a memory controller. The memory bank may use one additional memory chip that stores a bitwise parity of the data stored in the remaining memory chips of the memory bank. The parity bits are used to rebuild corrupted data when a UE occurs. The parity bits are also used to detect whether a SDC occurred in the data.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems and methods for providing an emergency alert notification. An electronic communication device can receive, from an alert generation device, a low power advertising packet responsive to an action performed on the alert generation device. Before the action is performed, the alert generation device can be in a low power state, such as a sleep state, to conserve battery. The action can cause the alert generation device to transition from the low power state to a second state in which the alert generation device begins transmitting the advertising packet. The electronic communication device can identify at least one emergency contact to receive an alert based on a contact policy and can determine an alert type based on the contact policy. The electronic communication device can generate the alert including a request for assistance and can transmit the alert to the at least one emergency contact.

Each of a plurality of discharges can be associated with the particulate accelerators. The operated conveyances can operate at different rates. The system can include one or more gearboxes adapted to be inverted and controlled by a second drive system. The improved system and controls provide variable application rates of particulate across rows in a field.

Abstract: A computer tagging system and computer-implemented method for programming a programmable component configured to be embedded in an animal, with user specified information relating to identification of the animal, in a second memory portion that is programmable to include the user specified information. A console component is communicatively coupled to a user interface and an RFID programming emitter. The console component, via the user interface, receive user entered information prescribing the user specified information relating to identification of the animal. A signal including the user specified information is transmitted from the RFID programming emitter to the programmable component located in proximity the RFID programming emitter. Responsive to receiving the transmitted signal from the RFID programming emitter, the user specified information is caused to be stored in the second memory portion of the programmable component.

Abstract: A battery electric system includes an inverter connected to a battery pack and a direct current (DC) voltage bus, first and second electrical switches, and a battery controller. The first switch is connected between the inverter and battery pack, and opens during an alternating current (AC) self-heating mode of the battery pack. This mode includes generating an AC waveform through the battery pack via the inverter at a controlled amplitude. The second switch, which is connected to the inverter and the first switch, closes during the self-heating mode. The controller, in response to calibrated entry criteria, opens the first switch, closes the second switch, and controls ON/OFF conducting states of the power switches to self-heat the battery pack using the AC waveform. The entry criteria includes required charging of the battery pack while a temperature of the battery pack is less than a calibrated temperature limit.

Abstract: An online meeting system begins the process of connecting a user to an online meeting when a request is received from a user to start or join the online meeting. In response to the request, a pre-meeting user interface (UI) is displayed having a user interface control which, when activated, enables transmission of audio and/or video data for the online meeting, and prior to activation of the control, connection parameters are shared with an online meeting service to preheat the meeting. In response to activation of the control, transmission of audio and/or video data for the online meeting is enabled.

Abstract: Various approaches relate to user defined content filtering in media playing devices of undesirable content represented in stored and real-time content from content providers. For example, video, image, and/or audio data can be analyzed to identify and classify content included in the data using various classification models and object and text recognition approaches. Thereafter, the identification and classification can be used to control presentation and/or access to the content and/or portions of the content. For example, based on the classification, portions of the content can be modified (e.g., replaced, removed, degraded, etc.) using one or more techniques (e.g., media replacement, media removal, media degradation, etc.) and then presented.

The BS is configured to receive a plurality of buffer occupancy indicators from the UE, wherein each buffer occupancy indicator is associated with a at least one queue, wherein each queue is associated with at least one radio bearer. The BS is further configured, in response to the received plurality of buffer occupancy indicators, to transmit an uplink resource allocation to the UE via a control channel and to receive data provided by selected queues in resources based on the transmitted uplink resource allocation from the UE.
