  • Patent number: 11156439
Abstract: Various implementations include a self-coupling initiator including one or more integrated features that allow the initiator to be installed within a housing tube without a forming or fastening operation. The integrated features are able to be coupled to a drop protection cap. The drop protection cap extends around at least a portion of a head portion of the initiator and abuts the structure of the outer housing so that force imparted on the drop protection cap from a drop test is transferred to a direct compression load on the cap and housing, instead of the force being transferred to the initiator. In addition, the initiator may include one or more clip features that allow the initiator to clip into the housing. In such embodiments, the drop protection cap may also prevent the clips from being disengaged with the housing.

  • Patent number: 11157572
Abstract: Implementations relate to sharing user activity data with other users. In some implementations, a method includes evaluating one or more actions of a second user to detect that the second user is interested in one or more attributes of one or more activities performed by a first user and described in activity data of the first user. A request is provided to the first user to share at least a portion of the activity data with the second user. The method receives, in response to the request, an indication from the first user to share a designated portion of the activity data with the second user. The method causes the activity data to be made accessible to the second user, and provides information for presentation via a device to the second user, where the presented information is derived from the shared portion of the activity data.

  • Patent number: 11158121
Abstract: In one embodiment, a computing system may be configured to generate accurate and realistic computer-generated clothing for a given body pose. For example, the system may access a data representation of a body pose and generate, based on the data representation, a 3D clothing model for the body pose using a statistical model. The system may generate a first normal map, such as a low-resolution normal map, based on the 3D clothing model. The system may generate a second normal map, such as a high-resolution normal map, by processing the first normal map using a machine-learning model that is trained to generate normal maps with higher levels of detail from normal maps with relatively lower levels of detail. The system may then render clothing for the body pose based on the 3D clothing model and the second normal map.

  • Patent number: 11157250
Abstract: Computer software development has produced many advances within computer science and in most aspects of modern society. Even with modern quality control, bug finding, and other code checking applications, computer software is often less than ideal. A developer may write code that is functionally accurate but lacks security, documentation, speed, storage, reusability, and/or other elements that may make a segment of software code less than ideal. Identifying equivalent code, within a defined hypothesis strength and/or resource limitation, and, when found, replacing it with a vetted equivalent promotes the deployment of software that is more robust, secure, usable and reusable, and/or satisfies performance or other objectives.

  • Patent number: 11159322
Abstract: According to one embodiment, in response to a request received at a host agent of a server from a user device of a user over a network to process user data, a data processing system launches a restricted operating environment within the server. The system transmits a token representing the request to a guest agent executed within the restricted operating environment, where an executor associated with the token is launched by the guest agent within the restricted operating environment, where the executor, when executed, is configured to process the user data to generate a processing result without accessing an external component external to the restricted operating environment. The system returns the processing result back to the user device.
