Patent number: 11155271Abstract: Systems and methods for reducing vehicle collisions based on driver risk groups are provided. A plurality of vehicle operators may be classified into a driver risk group based on one or more attributes (e.g., location, workplace, school, demographic, hobby, interest, etc.) shared by the plurality of vehicle operators. Vehicle sensor data (e.g., speed data, acceleration data, braking data, cornering data, following distance data, turn signal data, seatbelt use data, etc.) associated with each of the plurality of vehicle operators of the driver risk group may be analyzed. Based on the analysis of the vehicle sensor data, one or more indicia of safe driving behavior associated with the driver risk group may be identified. In response to a third-party query regarding a vehicle operator in the driver risk group, an indication of the safe driving behavior associated with the driver risk group may be provided to the third party.Type: GrantFiled: June 4, 2020Date of Patent: October 26, 2021Assignee: BlueOwl, LLCInventors: Micah Wind Russo, Eric Dahl, Theobolt N. Patent number: 11154424Abstract: A method of altering a refractive property of a crosslinked acrylic polymer material by irradiating the material with a high energy pulsed laser beam to change its refractive index. The method is used to alter the refractive property, and hence the optical power, of an implantable intraocular lens after implantation in the patient's eye. In some examples, the wavelength of the laser beam is in the far red and near IR range and the light is absorbed by the crosslinked acrylic polymer via two-photon absorption at high laser pulse energy. The method also includes designing laser beam scan patterns that compensate for effects of multiphone absorption such as a shift in the depth of the laser pulse absorption location, and compensate for effects caused by high laser pulse energy such as thermal lensing. The method can be used to form a Fresnel lens in the optical zone.Type: GrantFiled: April 4, 2019Date of Patent: October 26, 2021Assignee: AMO Development, LLCInventors: Georg Schuele, Alexander Vankov, Jenny Wang, David A. Patent number: 11159321Abstract: A system performs digital notarization using a biometric identification service. A signature requesting service receives a request to validate a digital item with a signature for a person. The signature requesting service provides a payload that identifies the digital item and/or the person to an identity service. The identity service obtains one or more digital representations of biometrics for the person, determines an identity for the person, and returns a data structure including the payload and one or more identity attestations regarding the determined identity. The identity service encrypts at least a portion of the data structure using a private encryption key. A public encryption key for the identity service can then be used to decrypt the portion to verify that the data structure was generated by the identity service after determining the identity. In this way, validation can be verified to the full trust level of the identification service.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 2019Date of Patent: October 26, 2021Assignee: ALCLEAR, LLCInventor: Rob Wisniewski
