Patent number: 11152948Abstract: An analog to digital converter (ADC) senses an analog signal (e.g., a load current) to generate a digital signal. The ADC operates based on a load voltage produced based on charging of an element (e.g., a capacitor) by a load current and a digital to analog converter (DAC) output current (e.g., from a N-bit DAC). The ADC generates a digital output signal representative of a difference between the load voltage and a reference voltage. This digital output signal is used directly, or after digital signal processing, to operate an N-bit DAC to generate a DAC output current that tracks the load current. The digital output signal provided to the N-bit DAC is an inverse function of the load current. The ADC is operative to sense very low currents (e.g., currents as low as is of pico-amps) and consume very little power (e.g., less than 2 ?W).Type: GrantFiled: October 29, 2020Date of Patent: October 19, 2021Assignee: SigmaSense, LLC.Inventor: Phuong Huynh

Patent number: 11153780Abstract: Wireless networks, such as 5G (and future 6G) networks, can recognize opportunities to enhance message performance by analyzing fault types in real-time, and selecting an appropriate mitigating modulation table accordingly. Noise patterns causing adjacent-amplitude faults and adjacent-phase faults indicate the need for different modulation schemes, while the large non-adjacent faults from pulsed external interference lead to yet a different choice. Disclosed examples show how to select an appropriate mitigating modulation table through fault analysis of failed messages. By selecting and switching to different modulation tables according to the types of message faults experienced by user messages, network operators can reduce message failure rates and increase overall throughput while reducing average delay per message, according to some embodiments.Type: GrantFiled: March 16, 2021Date of Patent: October 19, 2021Assignee: ULTRALOGIC 5G, LLCInventors: David E. Patent number: 11153094Abstract: Techniques for providing secure deduplication in a data storage system using smaller hash values. The techniques employ a keyed hash function to generate keyed hash values for data blocks received at the data storage system. The keyed hash function can generate keyed hash values having an acceptable probability of accidental collision, in which each keyed hash value requires a reduced number of bits to represent them. By representing each keyed hash value with a number of bits less than the number required for a cryptographic hash value, the impact that an index table in main memory has on the amount of free memory space available can be reduced, while still providing an acceptable probability of accidental collision. The keyed hash function can be implemented as a keyed universal hash function, which can reduce the number of processor cycles required to generate a keyed hash value for each received data block.Type: GrantFiled: April 27, 2018Date of Patent: October 19, 2021Assignee: EMC IP Holding Company LLCInventor: Charles W.
