Abstract: Methods, devices, and systems related to serving gateway extensions for inter-system mobility in integrated small Cell and WiFi networks. An SGW may be extended into a common intermediate gateway for both LTE and WiFi access. A GTP-based “SI a” interface between a TWAN and an SGW is introduced. The STa interface between TWAN and 3 GPP AAA server/proxy is extended to enable selection of an SGW for establishment of the disclosed S1a interface. The extended SGW and protocols may be used to optimize inter-system mobility between LTE small cells and trusted WiFi. SGW and PDN Gateway (PGW) functionality is disclosed to support GTP-based IP flow mobility via multi-access (LTE and WiFi) connectivity to the same packet data network (PDN). Non-access stratum (NAS), EAP, and GTP-C protocols may also be extended to include a “multi-connection” indication in addition to existing “handover” indication.

Abstract: A hunting vaporizing device selectively receives a vaporizer housing that carries vaporizable liquid configured to be vaporized up on exposure to a vaporizing element such as a heating coil wherein the resulting vapor is distributed with air flow from an airflow generator. The vaporizer housing can be disposable and readily replaceable. The replaceable vaporizing housing allows the user replace an empty device, switch scents, or place the device in storage without the risk of spilling the liquid material. The connection between the vaporizer housing and the base is either used to deliver the electric signal to activate the vaporizing element from a power supply carried by the vaporizer housing or, alternatively, the connection is used to selectively deliver the power for the vaporizing element from a power supply carried by the base. The electrical connection is disposed within the dock that receives the vaporizer housing.
Abstract: Methods, systems, and media for managing notifications directed to multiple applications installed on a user device are provided. In some embodiments, a method for managing notifications is provided, the method comprising: receiving, using a hardware processor, a first notification for a first application; determining a first user device associated with the first application; receiving a second notification for a second application; determining a second user device associated with the second application; determining that the first user device and the second user device are the same device; determining that the first notification and the second notification are corresponding notifications; determining that the first notification has priority over the second notification; sending the first notification to the first user device upon determining that the first notification has priority over the second notification; and inhibiting the second notification from being sent to the first user device.
Abstract: A prosthetic aortic valve includes an annular, annulus inflow portion that is designed to reside in or near the patient's native aortic valve annulus, and an annular, aortic outflow portion that is designed to reside in the patient's aorta downstream from at least a portion of the valsalva sinus. The annulus inflow portion and the aortic outflow portion are connected to one another by a plurality of connecting struts that are confined to regions near the commissures of the patient's native aortic valve. The connecting struts are designed to bulge out into the valsalva sinus to help anchor the prosthetic valve in place. The valve is circumferentially collapsible to a relatively small diameter for less-invasive delivery into the patient. The valve circumferentially expands to a larger operational diameter when deployed at the implant site.
Abstract: Affinity sensitive storage of data corresponding to a doubly mapped redundant array of independent nodes, e.g., a doubly mapped cluster, in a real storage system, e.g., a real cluster, is disclosed. Different mappings of data to a doubly mapped cluster corresponding to real cluster storage locations can result in different levels of affinity between real disks and/or real nodes of the real cluster. A data storage scheme can be selected based on disk affinity scores and node affinity scores to provide access to stored data that can be more resilient against a real disk and/or a real node becoming less accessible. Further, data recovery from a real disk/node that has become less accessible can be improved where data is stored based on the disclosed disk affinity scores and/or node affinity scores.
Abstract: Implementations are described for determining, based on a user-assembled collection of electronic content items, at least one actual purpose for the assembled collection. Those implementations are further directed to selecting an additional electronic content item based on the at least one actual purpose being assigned to the additional electronic content item in an electronic database. Those implementations are yet further directed to, responsive to the selecting, causing a suggestion for the additional electronic content item to be rendered at a client device associated with a user account that is assigned to the user-assembled collection.
Abstract: A device receives an image including image data of a scale model of a vehicle, and processes the image data, with a model, to identify a make, a model, and a year represented by the scale model. The device determines augmented reality (AR) vehicle information based on the make, the model, and the year represented by the scale model of the vehicle, and provides the AR vehicle information to enable a user device to associate the AR vehicle information with the image of the scale model of the vehicle. The device receives an input associated with the AR vehicle information, and determines updated AR vehicle information based on the input associated with the AR vehicle information. The device provides the updated AR vehicle information to enable the user device to associate the updated augmented reality vehicle information with the image of the scale model of the vehicle.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for radio frequency (RF) calibration in a multiple antenna system (MAS) with multi-user (MU) transmissions (“MU-MAS”) exploiting uplink/downlink channel reciprocity. The RF calibration is used to compute open-loop downlink precoder based on uplink channel estimates, thereby avoiding feedback overhead for channel state information as in closed-loop schemes. For example, a MU-MAS of one embodiment comprises a wireless cellular network with one or multiple beacon stations, multiple client devices and multiple distributed antennas operating cooperatively via precoding methods to eliminate inter-client interference and increase network capacity.

Abstract: A system and method for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of installing and pulling microducts through subterranean pathways is provided. The system includes a device that is placed over at least one microduct and secured through tapered screws that enter through the end cap of the body of the device and into at least one microduct. The tapered screw both expands the microduct, pressing it against the inner wall of the body and guide rod, as well as securing the microduct to the cap end of the body. Securing the microducts against seal provides further protection from water, debris, and other contaminants, and the expansion of the microducts provides friction and adherence to the body, aiding in keeping microducts in place. The device further includes a pulling apparatus connected to the device body, allowing it to be connected to a pulling mechanism for installation of the microducts.

Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure describe implementing bitmap-based data replication when a primary form of data replication between a source device and a target device cannot be used. According to one example, a temporal identifier may be received from the target device. If the source device determines that the primary replication method is unable to be used to replicate data associated with the temporal identifier, a secondary replication method may be initiated. The secondary replication method may utilize a recovery bitmap identifying data blocks that have changed on the source device since a previous event.
