Abstract: An electronic device that communicates a packet or a frame is described. This electronic device includes: at least an antenna having an antenna radiation pattern; an interface circuit; and an antenna cover that includes an integrated static lens, where the antenna cover is selected from a set of antenna covers that includes different integrated static lenses. During operation, the interface circuit may transmit, from the antenna, wireless signals corresponding to the packet or the frame, where the integrated static lens modifies the antenna radiation pattern of the antenna. For example, the integrated static lens may cause the wireless signals to converge or diverge. Alternatively, the integrated static lens may change an angular elevation of the antenna radiation pattern and/or may provide a correction for pathloss as a function of angle. Note that the integrated static lens may be a stepwise approximation to a predefined function.

Abstract: A system and method for providing secure data to a client device having a token is disclosed. In one embodiment, the method comprises: (a) binding the token to the client device according to first token binding information comprising a first token identifier (ID), first client device fingerprint data, and a first timestamp, (b) receiving a request to provide secure data to the client device in a service, the request comprising the signed first token binding information and timestamp, (c) determining if the request to provide the secure data to the client device was received within an acceptable temporal range of the stored timestamp; and (d) providing the requested secure data according to the determination.

Abstract: An advance pairing system preemptively pairs a phone to a vehicle using a backend cloud system prior to establishing the connection with the vehicle, such as during the time that a user is purchasing a vehicle, or just after the user enters the vehicle for the first time. The system includes a mobile application for automated advance pairing with the vehicle's automotive computer. The mobile app sends a request for advance pairing to a server that assigns a set of unique keys to the account for secure pairing of the mobile device and the vehicle. The server pushes an encrypted payload to both the mobile device app and the vehicle advance pairing app operating on the automotive computer. The encrypted payload can include a unique vehicle ID, a unique mobile device ID, and one or more encryption keys. The mobile device and the vehicle use the encrypted advance pairing information to establish a secured connection with minimal user input.

This population may occur in both a real-time (e.g., based on a continuously updated machine learning model) and modular fashion. For example, the system and methods may generate customized content on a website or mobile application through a hyperlink by filtering available features on a feature registry based on the identity of the user, the information from the user profile, and the description of the hyperlink content.

The lid is moved from a closed position to an open position using a bias of a spring assembly upon the release of the lid. The lid moves from the closed position to the open position along a rotation path created by a hinge at a second side. The lid is held in the open position by the spring bias, and the open position provides access to the reservoir through the cap opening. Birdseed is received through the cap opening into the reservoir.
