Abstract: One embodiment is directed to a system that comprises a non-DPD RF transceiver circuit that does not include digital pre-distortion (DPD) functionality and a DPD RF transceiver integrated circuit that includes DPD functionality. A first analog RF transmit signal output by the non-DPD RF transceiver circuit is received by a receive signal path of the DPD RF transceiver integrated circuit so that receive baseband data generated by the receive signal path is indicative of the first analog RF transmit signal. The receive baseband data generated by the DPD RF transceiver integrated circuit is received by a transmit signal path of the DPD RF transceiver integrated circuit. A second analog RF transmit signal output by the transmit signal path is a digitally pre-distorted version of the first analog RF transmit signal for amplification by the power amplifier.
Abstract: A method is disclosed for use in an electronic device having a non-volatile storage device and a volatile storage device, the method comprising: retrieving a first encoded data packet from a first address in the non-volatile storage device; decoding the first encoded data packet to obtain a first data item and a first error code corresponding to the first data item, the first encoded data packet being decoded by using a first coding key that is associated with the first address; detecting whether the first data item is corrupt based on the first error code and an error correction function, storing the first data item at a first address in the volatile storage device when the first data item is not corrupt, and transitioning the electronic device into a safe state when the first data item is corrupt.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a safety device, system, and method for storing medicines by a patient or caretaker without the harm from environmental elements. Medicines that require patients or caretakers to store at non-ambient conditions, such as non-room temperatures, specific humidity, no natural or artificial light, etc., are inconvenient and stressful to carry around during daily activities. In the absence of maintaining the required environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, light, etc., the medicine(s) become less potent and efficient. Therefore, the invention herein relates to a medicine storage systems and device so that the medicines can be carried during day-to-day activities under required conditions.
Abstract: A battery-powered, motorized window treatment may include a fascia that pivots between a conceal position wherein the fascia covers a window treatment assembly and a battery compartment, and an expose position wherein the fascia does not cover the battery compartment. The fascia may be a two part fascia that includes an arm and a cover that pivots relative to the arm when the battery compartment is operated between respective opened and closed positions. The arm may be attached to the battery compartment such that the arm remains in a fixed orientation relative to the battery compartment. The arm and the cover may define complementary pivotally interlocking connectors that define a pivot axis about which the cover may pivot relative to the arm. The fascia may be configured to generate a perceptible indication when the fascia pivots into the conceal position, and/or when the fascia pivots into the expose position.
Abstract: A system, method, device, and platform for analyzing investment data. One or more identifications for a user are received and authenticated. One or more user queries are received. Content associated with the one or more user queries are retrieved including the investment data. The content is displayed in a continuous display in which the user is enabled to view any of the content generated during a session by zooming, scrolling, or rotating in multiple dimensions. Revisions to the one or more queries are received. Revised content associated with the revisions are retrieved. The revised content is displayed in the continuous display in the previous content is saved.
Abstract: A transmission system for an electric vehicle. The system includes a gearbox containing gears and a lubricating fluid. A pump is provided for supplying and removing lubricating fluid from the gear box. The operation of the pump is controlled by a controller. A reservoir is provided for storing lubricating fluid. The controller is configured to control the pump so that a portion of the lubricating fluid is removed from the gear box when the vehicle is involved in a high acceleration event.
Abstract: Computer-implemented method and system for improving response to medical events and bystander assistance in said medical situations. The method and system provide an interface between the person experiencing a health related event, i.e. the “user,” and someone around said person witnessing the health related event, i.e. the “bystander.” On a mobile device, the method comprises alerting a bystander to the user and the medical event they are experiencing. Providing the bystander with relevant information through an interaction between the user mobile device and bystander mobile device via a series of sequential questions and commands; therefore, letting the bystander know the type of attention the situation merits.

Abstract: An electronic device that communicates a packet or a frame is described. This electronic device includes: at least an antenna having an antenna radiation pattern; an interface circuit; and an antenna cover that includes an integrated static lens, where the antenna cover is selected from a set of antenna covers that includes different integrated static lenses. During operation, the interface circuit may transmit, from the antenna, wireless signals corresponding to the packet or the frame, where the integrated static lens modifies the antenna radiation pattern of the antenna. For example, the integrated static lens may cause the wireless signals to converge or diverge. Alternatively, the integrated static lens may change an angular elevation of the antenna radiation pattern and/or may provide a correction for pathloss as a function of angle. Note that the integrated static lens may be a stepwise approximation to a predefined function.
