Abstract: Networking systems and methods for establishing and maintaining virtual computing clouds are disclosed. A networking system can comprise a server and various instances of a software agent, each agent being installed on a computing device participating in a virtual computing cloud. The server can maintain account setting for a user, wherein the settings can indicate which files on indicated computing devices are included in the virtual computing cloud. The networking system can selectively synchronize data between the computing devices automatically and in a secure manner, and can transmit data in real time to simulate local storage when synchronization of certain files is inappropriate in light of file incompatibility. As a result, the networking system can provide the user with a seamless, automatic system and method for accessing a total computing environment.

The load-sensing remote control device may be configured to communicate with the load control device via wireless communication. The load-sensing remote control device may be configured to transmit messages to the load control device in response to sensing a change in the operational characteristic of the second electrical load. The load control device may be configured to, upon receiving messages from the load-sensing remote control device, control an amount of power that is delivered to the first electrical load.
Abstract: A method includes a processing module obtaining touch data at a touch data rate. The method further includes the processing module obtaining video data at a refresh rate, wherein the touch data rate is greater than the refresh rate. For a frame of the video data, the method further includes the processing module determining a touch movement trend based on the touch data. The method further includes the processing module determining a position offset for a graphical representation of the touch data based on the touch movement trend. When the position offset exceeds an offset threshold, the method further includes the processing module adjusting position of the graphical representation of the touch data within the frame of video data based on the position offset to produce an adjusted frame of video data.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure include determining a data rate and a latency of one or more packets associated with a buffer, and adapting a size of the buffer based on the data rate or latency. The size of the buffer may also be adjusted differently based on its current size. For example, the size of the buffer may be increased by a greater amount if its current size is relatively small, or it may be decreased by a greater amount if its current size is relatively large. To determine how to adjust the buffer, the data rate may be compared to a data rate threshold and the latency may be compared to a latency threshold.

Abstract: A system for generating high-resolution video from low-resolution images is configured to access a first video stream and a second video stream capturing an environment. The first video stream is captured by a first video capture device. The second video stream is captured by a second video capture device. Image frames of the first video stream are temporally synchronized with corresponding image frames of the second video stream. The system is also configured to generate a composite video stream with a higher resolution than the first or second video streams. Each composite image frame of the composite video stream is generated using a respective image frame of the first video stream and a temporally synchronized corresponding image frame of the second video stream as input.

Abstract: A system and method for, removing carbon dioxide from a carbon dioxide laden gas mixture, the system comprising a group of carbon dioxide removal structures moving along a closed curve track. At one location along the track is located a desorption or regeneration box, into which each capture structure passes in order to be regenerated. The majority of the CO2 removal structures are fed ambient air, or an admixture of ambient air with a minor portion of a flue gas, and exhaust CO2-lean air. At least one selected such removal structure within each group, at a location immediately preceding its entry into the capture structure, is fed a flue gas comprising at least 4% CO2 by volume.
