Patent number: 11104856Abstract: Turbine fuel provided for large-scale land based turbines used by utilities for producing electricity and desalinated water, and for large mobile engines and turbines in marine and remote applications where only liquid fuels are available. Use results in less corrosion, ash formation and emissions (NOx, SOx, CO2 and noxious metals) than firing contaminated heavy crude, refinery residual oils or high sulfur fuel oils. Manufacture is by decontaminating crude oils, non-conventional crudes, and other highly contaminated feeds. Each fuel is produced as a single product of unit operations, not ex-plant blend of various refinery products, yet using an apparatus configuration less complex than conventional crude oil refining. These fuels can be fired by advanced high efficiency turbines of combined cycle power plants having hot flow paths and heat recovery steam generation systems susceptible to corrosion, which systems cannot otherwise risk contaminated heavy crudes or refinery residual oils feeds.Type: GrantFiled: February 3, 2020Date of Patent: August 31, 2021Assignee: Mawetal LLCInventors: Mohammed Wohaibi, Tom F. Patent number: 11106437Abstract: A programming language and a compiler are disclosed that optimize the use of look-up tables (LUTs) on a synchronous digital circuit (SDC) such as a field programmable gate array (FPGA) that has been programmed. LUTs are optimized by merging multiple computational operations into the same LUT. A compiler parses source code into an intermediate representation (IR). Each node of the IR that represents an operator (e.g. ‘&’, ‘+’) is mapped to a LUT that implements that operator. The compiler iteratively traverses the IR, merging adjacent LUTs into a LUT that performs both operations and performing input removal optimizations. Additional operators may be merged into a merged LUT until all the LUT's inputs are assigned. Pipeline stages are then generated based on merged LUTs, and an SDC is programmed based on the pipeline and the merged LUT.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 2019Date of Patent: August 31, 2021Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Blake D. Patent number: 11106789Abstract: Anomalous sequences are detected by approximating user sessions with heuristically extracted event sequences, allowing behavior analysis even without user identification or session identifiers. Extraction delimiters may include event count or event timing constraints. Event sequences extracted from logs or other event lists are vectorized and embedded in a vector space. A machine learning model similarity function measures anomalousness of a candidate sequence relative to a specified history, thus computing an anomaly score. Restrictions may be placed on the history to focus on a particular IP address or time frame, without retraining the model. Anomalous sequences may generate alerts, prompt investigations by security personnel, trigger automatic mitigation, trigger automatic acceptance, trigger tool configuration actions, or result in other cybersecurity actions.Type: GrantFiled: March 5, 2019Date of Patent: August 31, 2021Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Naama Kraus, Roy Levin, Andrey Karpovsky, Tamer Salman
