Abstract: A vapor cooled insulation structure includes at least one vapor sealed layer, created with discrete spacers between two layers. A vapor transport layer is created within these layers through which a cold fluid may flow to intercept and remove heat from an underlying structure. In one example, the vapor cooled system carries cold vapor which is in direct contact with an underlying cryogenic tank structural support.

Abstract: Techniques expand storage space. Such techniques can create a storage stripe group during a shuffling operation after a storage device being added, without waiting for full completion of the shuffling operation. Such techniques can effectively reduce the waiting time for creating the storage stripe group. Besides, such techniques can support partial mapping of the storage stripe group, such that the storage resources mapped to the storage stripe group can be rapidly utilized.
Abstract: A breastfeeding garment and method of use is provided. The breastfeeding garment includes a first front flap and a second front flap positioned over the breasts of a user, and a back panel, all of which are joined at two side seams. The first and second front flaps may be moved away from each other vertically to form an aperture through the breastfeeding garment. The first and second front flaps are composed of an elastic material, so a breastfeeding funnel may be placed onto the breast of a user through the aperture and then induced to remain in contact with the breast through the elastic force generated by the breastfeeding garment.

Abstract: A drive circuit is disclosed. The drive circuit includes a high-side switch coupled between a power supply and an inductive load, and a low-side switch coupled between the load and ground. A current sense device is connected in series with the high-side switch, the low-side switch and the load. A control circuit controls the high-side and low-side switches. The control circuit further includes an input coupled to an output of the current sense device, and is configured to selectively provide a current path between the first and second terminals of the inductive load based upon the output of the current sense device. The current path is provided when an overcurrent condition exists, and dissipates energy stored in the inductive load in response to the overcurrent condition.

Abstract: The disclosed computer-implemented method may include transmitting a first signal by a first antenna element included in a head mounted display system, analyzing the second signal to determine multidimensional data for the second signal, comparing the multidimensional data for the second signal to known multidimensional data related to positions of a gaze of an eye of a user in the head mounted display system, identifying a position of a gaze for an eye of a user in the head mounted display system based on the comparison, and adjusting image data for display on a display device included in the head mounted display system based on the identified position of the gaze of the eye of the user. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.
Abstract: A locking device for an exercise system may include a locking member having a contact portion and configured to move between a first position and a second position. When in the first position, the contact portion of the locking member is not in mechanical communication with the resistance mechanism of the exercise system, thereby allowing movement of the at least one moveable assembly. When in the second position, the contact portion of the locking member is in mechanical communication with the resistance mechanism of the exercise system, thereby preventing movement of the at least one moveable assembly.

Abstract: Adjustable weight striking device can be selectively loaded with weighting material to temporarily increase striking force during use and unloaded to reduce weight while carrying. The tool has body made of low density material and working end for striking tool, handle extending from the body made of low density material, striking tool at working end, and apparatus for holding weighting material adjacent to the body. The weight holding apparatus can be platform with straps or other securing feature for temporarily holding weighting material and/or an interior chamber within the body for receiving weighting material. Weighting material can be sand, water, dirt, gravel, rock, or metal and can temporarily increase the weight of the striking tool by 50%, 100%, 200% 250%, 300%, 400%, 500% or more depending on volume and/or density of weighting material as compared to striking device.
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for delivering content to a client device placed on hold. A communication system establishes a communication session between a client device placed on an initial hold and a content delivery service, during which the client device placed on the initial hold may place a subsequent hold, resulting in multiple concurrent holds. The communication system allocates a unique identifier to the subsequent hold and updates records associated with the initial and subsequent holds to include an indication that the client device that ends the hold should be placed on hold. The communication system terminates the communication session between the client device placed on the initial hold and the content delivery service and returns the unique identifier allocated to the subsequent hold to the client device that initiated the subsequent hold.
Abstract: Systems and methods for evaluating a customer premise equipment (CPE) device. A network element management system may send an alteration request to a configurable coaxial tap that cause the configurable coaxial tap to alter the characteristics of the configurable coaxial tap and/or to manipulate the radio frequency (RF) characteristics of a customer premise device (CPE) coupled to the configurable coaxial tap. The network element management system may then receive impaired operation reports from a cable modem termination system, sending an un-alteration request to the configurable coaxial tap to undo the alterations, and receive restored operation reports from the cable modem termination system. The network element management system may use any or all of the received information to generate and use modem-tap-port correlations to determine the physical location of the CPE.
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for segmenting a medical image. In one aspect, a method comprises: receiving a medical image that is captured using a medical imaging modality and that depicts a region of tissue in a body; and processing the medical image using a segmentation neural network to generate a segmentation output, wherein the segmentation neural network comprises a sequence of multiple encoder blocks, wherein: each encoder block is a residual neural network block comprising one or more two-dimensional convolutional neural network layers, one or more three-dimensional convolutional neural network layers, or both, and each encoder block is configured to process a respective encoder block input to generate a respective encoder block output wherein a spatial resolution of the encoder block output is lower than a spatial resolution of the encoder block input.

Abstract: An amusement park access control system includes an amusement park area having an entrance. A unified access control device is positioned at the entrance and is configured to control guest access into the amusement park area. The unified access control device includes sensor modules and an access control module physically connected to one another to form a unified structure. The sensor modules scan the entrance to determine guest identification data. An access control computer system is communicatively coupled to the unified access control device and includes databases storing guest enrollment data and entitlement data associated with the guest enrollment data. The unified access control device identifies entitlements associated with the guest identification data based on a comparison between the guest identification data, the guest enrollment data, and the entitlement data, and controls guest access through the entrance based on the identified entitlements.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a system and a method. The system and the method generate, via a deep neural network, a first synthetic image based on a simulated image, generate a segmentation mask based on the synthetic image, compare the segmentation mask with a ground truth mask of the synthetic image, update the deep neural network based on the comparison, and generate, via the updated deep neural network, a second synthetic image based on the simulated image.
Abstract: A method of determining a smooth reference line for navigating an autonomous vehicle in a manner similar to human driving is disclosed. A high density map is used to generate a centerline for a lane of roadway. Using the centerline, a number of sample points is generated that is related to a curvature of the centerline. Adjustment points are generated at each sample point, a few on either side of the centerline at each sample point. Candidate points at a sample point include the adjustment points and sample point. A least cost path is determined through each of the candidate points at each of the sample points. Path cost is based an angle of approach and departure through a candidate point, and a distance of the candidate point from the centerline.
Abstract: A software and/or data mobility platform. The mobility of software and data in an edge network is achieved by loading software and/or data on an edge node. The software and data are replicated or migrated to neighbor nodes and prepared for the device when the device switches nodes. As the device switched nodes, clean up or mobility operations are performed by replicating or migrating the software/data to new neighbor nodes and deleting or removing the software/data from nodes that are no longer considered to be neighbor nodes. The software is typically deployed to the mobility platform rather than directly to the nodes to allow developers to focus on their application rather than on the mobility of the application.
