Abstract: A system and method for collecting data may include a data collection device to obtain the data from a user, an apparatus for obtaining metadata for each word of the data from the user, an apparatus for obtaining a searchable transcript of the data and a device to store the searchable transcript. The metadata may be date data, time data, name data or location data and the data collection device may include a speech recognition engine to translate speech into searchable words. The speech recognition engine may provide a confidence level corresponding to the translation of the speech into searchable words, and the speech recognition engine may distinguish a first user and a second user in order to provide a first searchable transcript for the first user and a second searchable transcript for the second user. An ad transcript may be added to the searchable transcript, and the searchable transcript may be placed in a centralized community search database.

Abstract: A plurality of different hosted services each includes enabling logic that enables a set of actions. Usage data for a plurality of different tenants are accessed and actions are grouped into features based upon underlying enabling logic. A correlation score between features is identified based on tenant usage data for those features. A tenant under analysis is selected and usage data for the tenant under analysis is used to identify related features that the tenant under analysis is not using, based upon the correlation scores for the features. An output system is controlled to surface the related features for the tenant under analysis.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory, machine-readable media to facilitate adaptive processing and content control are disclosed. Content composites may be created and configured according to a computational model that may include a hierarchical ordering of the content composites using a hierarchical data structure. The configured content composites may be presented with a graphical user interface of an endpoint device. Metrics of interactions with interface elements corresponding to the configured content composites may be determined using a processing device that monitors inputs. The computational model may be automatically trained using the metrics of interactions to create an adapted computational model. Adapted content composites may be created and configured according to the adapted computational model that may include a second hierarchical ordering using a second hierarchical data structure. The adapted content composites may be presented with the graphical user interface.

Abstract: An aspect of managing data block compression in a storage system includes performing, for each block written to the storage system: bit-wise traversing the block, searching the block for a pattern indicating a repeating sequence of bits and, upon determining the pattern exists in the block and the repeating sequence of bits in the pattern exceeds a threshold value, removing the repeating sequence of bits from the block thereby yielding a reduced-size block.

The controlled-environment facility communications processing system submits the first type of biometric sample of the user to a centralized investigative data aggregation and analysis system, which verifies the user using the first type of biometric sample and determining. When the system(s) determine that a certainty of this resulting verification of the user does not meet a predetermined certainty threshold a second type of biometric sample of the user is captured and submitted for verification of the user.

Abstract: A methodology and apparatus for providing casino game signage for a casino game which incorporates display information that is dynamically interchangeable between game specific and game non-specific information responsive to automatic detection of game play status at the game table. At least one electronic display is provided at respective casino game tables, and selected display information is wirelessly transmitted, and/or manually delivered, thereto. The display information which is displayed is dynamically selected based upon a sensor automatically detecting the status of play of the game, being game specific during play and selectively game specific and game non-specific during game play inactivity.

Abstract: A vehicle includes and engine and a transmission having a torque converter with an impeller and a turbine. An electric machine is fixed to the impeller. At least one controller is programmed to, in response to a difference between measured and estimated speeds of the impeller exceeding a threshold, command a torque to the electric machine based on a maximum of the measured and estimated speeds of the impeller, and programmed to, in response to the difference being less than the threshold, command another torque to the electric machine based on the measured speed of the impeller.

Abstract: A urinary catheter passes from outside the body, through a urethra and into a bladder. The catheter includes an elongated tube having a distal end, proximal end, an intermediate length therebetween, and at least two lumens extending therein. The first lumen receives an inflation fluid at the distal end to inflate a balloon located at the proximal end of the catheter located within the bladder. The second lumen is discontinuous along at least a portion of the intermediate length and causes urine entering the second lumen from the bladder to contact a portion of the urethra before the urine is collected at the distal end of the catheter.

Abstract: A system includes a robotic device, a sensor disposed on the robotic device, and circuitry configured to perform operations. The operations include determining a map that represents stationary features of an environment and receiving, from the sensor, sensor data representing the environment. The operations also include determining, based on the sensor data, a representation of an actor within the environment, where the representation includes keypoints representing corresponding body locations of the actor. The operations also include determining that a portion of a particular stationary feature is positioned within a threshold distance of a particular keypoint and, based on thereon, updating the map to indicate that the portion is to be cleaned. The operations further include, based on the map as updated, causing the robotic device to clean the portion of the particular stationary feature.

Abstract: A cruise control method to control a vehicle includes: receiving, by a controller of the vehicle, a set speed, a maximum allowed speed, and a minimum allowed speed, wherein each of the maximum allowed speed and the minimum allowed speed is a speed boundary; a propulsion system to produce a commanded axle torque to maintain the set speed; monitoring a current vehicle speed of the vehicle; determining a current vehicle acceleration of the vehicle; determining a time that the vehicle will take to reach the speed boundary; determining whether the time that the vehicle will take to reach the speed boundary is less than a predetermined time threshold; and in response to determining that the time that the vehicle will take to reach the speed boundary is less than the predetermined time threshold, commanding the propulsion system of the vehicle to adjust the commanded axle torque.

Abstract: Paraffin compositions including mainly even carbon number paraffins, and a method for manufacturing the same, is disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the method involves contacting naturally occurring fatty acid/glycerides with hydrogen in a slurry bubble column reactor containing bimetallic catalysts with equivalent particle diameters from about 10 to about 400 micron. The even carbon number compositions are particularly useful as phase change material.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a pipeline system includes a pipe fitting to be secured to a pipe segment including tubing that defines a pipe bore and a fluid conduit implemented in a tubing annulus of the tubing, in which the pipe fitting includes a fitting grab notch implemented on an outer surface of the pipe fitting, and a supplemental containment wall assembly to be deployed at the pipe fitting. The supplemental containment wall assembly includes a containment wall shell to be secured circumferentially around the pipe fitting to define a fitting annulus that is sealed at least between the outer surface of the pipe fitting and an inner surface of the containment wall shell to facilitate providing multi-wall containment in the pipeline system and a shell grab tab implemented on the inner surface of the containment wall shell, in which the shell grab tab matingly interlocks with the fitting grab notch on the outer surface of the pipe fitting to facilitate securing the containment wall shell to the pipe fitting.

Abstract: Systems, apparatus, and methods for use with an AC mitigation device coupled to an underground conductive structure and to one or more buried AC mitigation conductors adjacent to the underground structure. AC current transformers sense AC flowing between the mitigation device and the underground structure, and between the mitigation device and the mitigation conductors. A controllable switch is coupled between the mitigation device and the underground structure. Digitizing circuitry generates digital data corresponding to the AC sensed by the current transformers when the mitigation device is connected to and disconnected from the underground structure.
