Abstract: A chassis for an electrically powered vehicle, including a front wheel suspension and a rear wheel suspension, each having longitudinal control arms arranged on both sides and a torsion spring actively connected to the longitudinal control arms. The chassis includes a battery housing receiving a propulsion battery. A front transverse carrier extends between the respective longitudinal control arms of the front wheel suspension, and a rear transverse carrier extends between the respective longitudinal control arms of the rear wheel suspension. The respective transverse carriers are rigidly connected to the battery housing and couple the longitudinal control arms and the torsion spring.

  • Publication number: 20210255295
Abstract: Embodiments include devices, system and processes for facilitating ultra-short range detection of obstacles using a PAS sensor. A process may include obtaining a correlation of at least two characteristics of a transducer; determining a given transmission frequency and selecting a reverberation time desired for the transducer; obtaining a damping ratio corresponding to the selected reverberation time; generating a ranging signal command; generating a damping signal command; and outputting each of the ranging signal command and the damping signal command. The ranging signal command may instruct a PAS sensor to drive the transducer to output a ranging signal at the given transmission frequency, at a transmission amplitude, and at a transmission phase and the damping signal command results in a dampening, at the damping ratio, of transducer reverberations arising from the ranging signal. The damping ratio may be between thirty percent (30%) and eighty percent (80%) of the transmission amplitude.

  • Publication number: 20210257843
Abstract: A battery system and a method include an auxiliary power module configured to support auxiliary loads. A first contactor switch connected between first and second battery packs, and a second contactor switch is in series with the first contactor switch. A controller determines whether to open or close first and second contactor switches depending on whether the battery packs are being charged in a high voltage mode or a low voltage mode. The contactor switches are both closed when in the high voltage mode and at least one of the contactor switches is opened when in the low voltage mode. At least one of the first and second battery packs operate to power the auxiliary power module while charging at least one of the first and second battery packs regardless of whether the battery packs are in the high voltage mode or the low voltage mode.

  • Publication number: 20210255797
Abstract: A method for use in a storage system, the method comprising: receiving an I/O command; identifying a latency of a first storage device that is associated with the I/O command; and executing the I/O command at least in part based on the latency, wherein executing the I/O command based on the latency includes: performing a first action when the latency is less than a first threshold, and performing a second action when the latency is greater than the first threshold, wherein identifying the latency includes retrieving the latency from a latency database, and wherein the first storage device is part of a storage array, the storage array including one or more second storage devices in addition to the first storage device.

  • Publication number: 20210258199
Abstract: An extensible communication system is described herein. The system includes a first module for receiving a root index value and for generating a constant amplitude zero auto-correlation sequence based on the root value. The system further includes a second module for receiving a seed value and for generating a Pseudo-Noise sequence based on the seed value. The system further includes a third module for modulating the constant amplitude zero auto-correlation sequence by the Pseudo-Noise sequence and for generating a complex sequence. The system further includes a fourth module for translating the complex sequence to a time domain sequence, wherein the fourth module applies a cyclic shift to the time domain sequence to obtain a shifted time domain sequence.

  • Patent number: RE48706
Abstract: A driving circuit of a liquid crystal display panel includes a substrate, a plurality of driver IC chips located on the substrate, a current supplier, and a first conductive wire set. The first conductive wire set has a plurality of conductive wire segments for connecting the driver IC chips in parallel to the current supplier. Furthermore, the conductive wire segments each have a form, such that paths formed of the conductive wire segments from the current supplier to the respective driver IC chips have an equal resistance, and, accordingly, each of the driver IC chips obtain the same input voltage. Hence, a problem of band mura is avoided.
