  • Patent number: 11078744
Abstract: In wellbore completions it is sometimes desirable to seal the wellbore against fluid flow or to anchor a component within the wellbore. However, running such a plug into the wellbore has been problematic on occasion such as when the nose of the plug encounters an object within the wellbore such as a sand bridge or other obstruction. In those instances, the way of the tubular pushing the plug into the wellbore combined with the nose of the plug being unable to pass the instruction causes the plug to prematurely set. Such an instance the plug may need to be drilled out in order to proceed. In the present embodiment the tubular used to move the plug into the well is attached to the nose of the plug so that the force provided to the plug by the tubular is transmitted only to the nose of the plug preventing the plug from presetting and allowing the plug to push past or through an obstacle within the wellbore.

  • Patent number: 11080078
Abstract: Examples are disclosed that relate to processing files between a local network and a cloud computing service. One example provides a computing device configured to be located between a local network and a cloud computing service, comprising a logic machine and a storage machine comprising instructions executable to receive, from a device within the local network, a file at a local share of the computing device, and in response to receiving the file, generate a file event indicating receipt of the file at the local share and provide the file event to a virtual machine executing on the computing device. The instructions are further executable to, based upon a property of the file, provide the file to a program operating within a container in the virtual machine to process the file, and send a result of executing the program on the file to the cloud computing service.

  • Patent number: 11077968
Abstract: The invention relates to a so-called stabilization method, consisting of completing the filling of traveling egg trays. In each of the successive trays, eggs taken from an available egg reservoir are deposited in empty locations. This reservoir is made up of egg receiving cells that are movable along rows of cells in series. Depending on a filling state of the tray being treated identifying the distribution of the empty locations relative to the full locations, the reservoir is automatically configured in a configuration of egg-bearing cells complementary to said filling state of the tray in progress, so as to next transfer eggs between the reservoir and the tray in progress by correspondence between empty locations and full locations in the tray and the presence or absence of an egg-bearing cell in the reservoir.

  • Patent number: 11082491
Abstract: An application is installed on a computing device from an application package. An origin of the application (e.g., a managed installer for an enterprise, a reputation checking service) is propagated to files written to a storage device of the computing device as part of the installation, such as by writing origin information to the storage device as metadata associated with the file. The origin information for a file, in conjunction with a policy on the computing device specifying one or more trusted origins for applications on the computing device, is used to identify whether a particular action can be taken with and/or by the file. These actions can include, for example, execution of an application from an executable file. If the origin information for a file indicates an origin that is a trusted origin specified by the policy, then the action can be performed.
