Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure include techniques for processing neural networks. Various forms of parallelism may be implemented using topology that combines sequences of processors. In one embodiment, the present disclosure includes a computer system comprising one or more processor groups, the processor groups each comprising a plurality of processors. A plurality of network switches are coupled to subsets of the plurality of processor groups. In one embodiment, the switches may be optical network switches. Processors in the processor groups may be configurable to form sequences, and the network switches are configurable to form at least one sequence across one or more of the plurality of processor groups to perform neural network computations. Various alternative configurations for creating Hamiltonian cycles are disclosed to support data parallelism, pipeline parallelism, layer parallelism, or combinations thereof.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide for mechanisms for identification of table partitions in documents using neural networks. A method of the disclosure includes obtaining a plurality of symbol sequences of a document having at least one table, determining a plurality of vectors representative of symbol sequences having at least one alphanumeric character or a table graphics element, processing the plurality of vectors using a first neural network to obtain a plurality of recalculated vectors, determining an association between a first recalculated vector and a second recalculated vector, wherein the first recalculated vector is representative of an alphanumeric sequence and the second recalculated vector is associated with a table partition, and determining, based on the association between the first recalculated vector and the second recalculated vector, an association between the alphanumeric sequence and the table partition.

A hand count value on the gaming device can be incremented by the received amount of hand count credit. The gaming device can generate outcomes of wagering games. The hand count value can be incremented based on a number of outcomes of the wagering game generated. A payout of the wagering game can be determined based on the hand count value.

Abstract: In a multi-functional storage container and fitness training system, a storage container of the system includes additional functionality and utility as one or more of a combination of a fitness exercise station, a portable cooler or personal storage container, and a platform to secure smart electronic devices thereon such as smartphones, tablet-like devices, and the like, providing a charging station function to charge these smart devices. The example system may alternatively be understood as a fitness exercise station having multi-functional utility beyond exercise, or a storage container having multi-functional utility beyond the storage of articles.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media can be operable to facilitate communication between devices that are configured according to different wireless network infrastructures. A subscriber access device may include a proxy having a virtual station and a virtual P2P client, and the subscriber access device may be conductively connected to an access point and a P2P group owner. The P2P group owner may establish a P2P group including one or more P2P clients that are within range of the subscriber access device. The proxy may bridge traffic between a legacy network and a P2P group. For example, the proxy may forward messages received over a legacy network to one or more P2P clients included within a P2P group, and the proxy may forward messages received from a P2P client of the P2P group to one or more devices configured to communicate with the subscriber access device over the legacy network.

Abstract: A pneumatic steering system includes a cylinder movable in relation to a through rod, steering tie rods coupled to the cylinder, a control valve that controls motion of the cylinder in relation to the through rod, a spring-biased pivoting actuator operably coupled to a steering linkage and to a control input of the control valve. The actuator is pivotally mounted to a structure attached to the cylinder. The control valve is attached to that structure. The steering linkage is an articulated assembly that transforms rotation of the steering column into pivoting movement of the actuator.

The mobile security system and device has integrated logical and physical security and may be transported into an area with no internet connection and be self-sufficient and secured. The mobile security system and device includes a housing enclosing a computing apparatus, an access control mechanism to secure a door of the housing in a closed position, and a security control module to protect the data stored on the computing apparatus and provide authentication to access the enclosure. A back-up power supply supported by the housing and a wireless router to provide wireless network access to the remote home network may also be provided.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure are generally directed to systems and methods for switchable electroactive devices for head-mounted displays (HMDs). In particular, a method may include (1) applying an electric field to an electroactive element of an electroactive device via electrodes of the electroactive device that are electrically coupled to the electroactive element to compress the electroactive element, which comprises a polymer material defining nanovoids, such that an average size of the nanovoids is decreased and a density of the nanovoids is increased in the electroactive element, wherein the electroactive device is positioned at a distance from a user's eye, and (2) emitting image light from an emissive device positioned such that at least a portion of the image light is incident on a surface of the electroactive device facing the user's eye.

The system is especially applicable to operations that require or benefit from the ability to irradiate at specifically selected wavelengths or to pulse or inject the radiation. The system is particularly advantageous when functioning at higher speeds and in a non-contact environment with the target.
