Abstract: A wireless device receives, from a base station, one or more broadcast messages comprising system information. The system information may indicate that a first type of wireless device is barred from accessing or camping on a first cell. The wireless device may determine, based on the system information and based on the wireless device not being of the first type, that the wireless device is not barred from accessing or camping on the first cell. The wireless device may transmit, to the base station, a random access preamble for accessing or camping on the first cell.
Abstract: Tenant approval for operator access to tenant data is provided. In order to grant service personnel operators access to a tenant's data for performing a requested action, a lockbox determines a security group role to which an operator needs to be elevated to perform a requested action, computes a set of internal administrators and tenant administrators authorized to grant a temporary role elevation, and sends an access control request to the administrators. Upon receiving approval of the access control request from an internal administrator and a tenant administrator, the lockbox elevates the operator to the security group role, granting the operator a set of permissions needed in order to allow the operator to perform the requested action. Accordingly, tenants are enabled to control access to their data and scrutinize access requests per their company procedures and compliance needs.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and processor-readable storage media for machine learning techniques for automated processing of workflow approval requests are provided herein. An example computer-implemented method includes generating a machine learning model for workflow approval requests, wherein generating the machine learning model comprises automatically learning temporal-based patterns from historical data related to previous workflow approval requests; generating, in response to an additional workflow approval request, an output value by applying the machine learning model to input data related to the additional workflow approval request; comparing the output value to at least one predefined threshold value; and automatically rejecting the additional workflow approval request responsive to a result of the comparing of the output value to the at least one predefined threshold value.
Abstract: It is an objective of the present invention to provide users with a pick-up stick, that can pick up flat objects from the floor that are difficult to grab or reach. In order to accomplish that, the present invention comprises a battery operated, suction powered pick-up stick that is also retractable. According to the present invention, with the push of a button on the handle, the suction may be turned on and turned off. Further, the retractability and the low weight of the present invention enables a user to collapse and carry the pick-up stick in a small purse/pouch. Additionally, the present invention comprises one or more light at the tip of the pick-up stick for easy visibility. The present invention further comprises a tip that bends and flexes so that suction may be initiated from a desired direction and a grab is made efficiently.

Abstract: A method includes a marketplace server establishing one or more security parameters for an exchange item and securely providing the one or more security parameters to a user computing device of the data communication system. When the user computing device desires to use the exchange item, the method further includes generating, by the user computing device, first dynamically secure exchange item data. The method further includes the marketplace server receiving the first dynamically secure exchange item data from the user computing device, generating second dynamically secure exchange item data, and comparing the first dynamically secure exchange item data with the second dynamically secure exchange item data. When the first dynamically secure exchange item data substantially matches the second dynamically secure exchange item data, the method further includes authorizing, by the marketplace server, the use of the exchange item by the user computing device.
Abstract: A method and an inclusion dependency determination system (IDDS) for determining inclusion dependency between columns of tables in a target database to establish primary key (PK)-foreign key (FK) relationships among data in the columns with minimized disk input and output operations are provided. The IDDS determines dependency characteristic data (DCD) of each column and arranges the columns by applying one or more predefined rules to the columns based on a minimum value of the data of each column. The IDDS determines pairs of arranged columns that demonstrate a possibility of inclusion dependency based on the DCD and identifies a first column and a second column of each determined pair as a candidate PK and a candidate FK respectively. The IDDS determines inclusion dependency between the candidate PK and the candidate FK on comparing data of the candidate PK with the data of the candidate FK using dynamically determined search techniques.

Abstract: Systems and methods of shotcrete construction are contemplated whereby guide rails are placed in proximity and forward to a shotcrete receiving surface, with any guide rails disposed directly in front of the shotcrete receiving surface being configured to be offset from the receiving surface allowing shotcrete to be sprayed behind the offset guide rails. Following application of shotcrete, a screed configured to engage with and traverse along at least two of the guide rails may be used to rod the shotcrete via a protruding region of the screed extending beyond the guide rails, thereby removing excess shotcrete and imparting to the shotcrete surface a contour at least partially defined by the configuration of the guide rails and the configuration of the protruding region of the screed. Complex, precise, and even exotic architectural shotcrete installations may be created in this fashion by providing a suitable set of guide rails and screed.
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed, and one includes receiving an encoded data stream, generating a first upsampled encoded block, based on a first upsampling rate upsampling of a first content from the data stream, communicating the first upsampled encoded block to a beam hopping satellite, on an uplink, during an uplink first time interval having a synchronization with a first beam of the beam hopping satellite, as a feed for the first beam. The systems may further include generating, starting at a time within the uplink first time interval, a second upsampled encoded block, based on a second upsampling rate upsampling of a second content from the data stream, and communicating the second upsampled encoded block via the uplink to the beam hopping satellite, during an uplink second time interval having a synchronization with a second beam of the beam hopping satellite, as a feed for the second beam.
