  • Patent number: 11106810
Abstract: An apparatus, in one example, comprises a storage system configured to perform one or more deduplication operations on encrypted datasets received for a plurality of tenants and store at least a portion of the encrypted datasets, the datasets having been encrypted for respective ones of the plurality of tenants using a common encryption key. The apparatus further comprises a cryptographic module associated with the storage system, the cryptographic module configured to, in response to a request to access an encrypted dataset stored by the storage system corresponding to a given one of the plurality of tenants, further encrypt the encrypted dataset using a tenant encryption key associated with the given one of the plurality of tenants. The storage system is further configured to send the further encrypted dataset to the given one of the plurality of tenants that requested access.

  • Patent number: 11108801
Abstract: In an embodiment, a computer implemented method receives flow data for a network flows. The method extracts a tuple from the flow data and calculates long-term and short-term trends based at least in part on the tuple. The long-term and short-term trends are compared to determine whether a potential network anomaly exists. If a potential network anomaly does exist, the method initiates a heavy hitter detection algorithm. The method forms a low-complexity intermediate stage of processing that enables a high-complexity heavy hitter detection algorithm to execute when heavy hitters are likely to be detected.

  • Patent number: 11109071
Abstract: A method of dynamic point cloud partition packing is by at least one processor and includes obtaining one or more region of interest (ROI) patches from an ROI of a point cloud, and attempting to pack, into one among tiles of a tile map, one among the obtained one or more ROI patches, in a tile scan order. The method further includes identifying whether the one among the one or more ROI patches is packed successfully into the one among the tiles, and based on the one among the one or more ROI patches being determined to be not packed successfully into the one among the tiles, chunking the one among the one or more ROI patches into multiple ROI patches.

  • Patent number: 11107227
Abstract: Distance measurements are received from one or more distance measurement sensors, which may be coupled to a vehicle. A three-dimensional (3D) point cloud are generated based on the distance measurements. In some cases, 3D point clouds corresponding to distance measurements from different distance measurement sensors may be combined into one 3D point cloud. A voxelized model is generated based on the 3D point cloud. An object may be detected within the voxelized model, and in some cases may be classified by object type. If the distance measurement sensors are coupled to a vehicle, the vehicle may avoid the detected object.

  • Patent number: 11108818
Abstract: Cybersecurity is enhanced to detect credential spray attacks. Accounts with access failure events are divided into buckets B1 . . . BN based on access failure count ranges R1 . . . RN. For instance, accounts with one logon failure may go in B1, accounts with two failures in B2, etc. Buckets will thus have account involvement extents E1 . . . EN, which are compared to thresholds T1 . . . TN. An intrusion detection tool generates an alert when some Ei hits its Ti. Detection may spot any credential sprays, not merely password sprays. False positives may be reduced by excluding items from consideration, such as logon attempts using old passwords. False positives and false negatives may be balanced by tuning threshold parameters. Breached accounts may be found. Detection may also permit other responses, such as attack disruption, harm mitigation, and attacker identification. Credential spray attack detection may be combined with other security mechanisms for defense in depth of cloud and other network accounts.
